Having all of them come together was so sweet to see!

I actually really like this episode. I enjoy the two Hooks way more than I thought I would and do appreciate their differences in mannerism, language, and back story. The Roni, Det Rodgers and Henry team is definitely a highlight for me lol and one of my favorite things of this season so far

jay luna

Aha, so he is just giving the typical sketchy Rumple fave then LOL

I like Hook 2.0, I'm going to use that lol

No, Jacinda is not Hook's daughter, but we do start getting clues as to who his daughter is in the next couple of episodes. I cant wait for the fourth episode. It's absolutely amazing. Rumple is fully under this new curse. The reason he was able to wake up from the first one is because he included Emma's name as a failsafe, so that when he heard her name, he would regain his memories. That's what happened in the pilot episode of Season 1 when he first heard Emma's name at Granny's Bed & Breakfast.

I think the best episodes this season, minus one, are the Hook-centric ones. xD

That's easy to remember lol

I didn't know this, but I know that Colin truly loved playing Captain Hook too. So, of course he would have wanted to stay in the show, even if his contract was up.

Yes, Detective Rogers is Wish Realm Hook. His "accident" when he started the job are just the curse memories trying to explain away his encounter with Emma. Also, it´s heavily implied that the "missing girl" he is searching for is meant to be his daughter. So it´s probably not Cinderella. The backstory he mentioned of his daughter being trapped and him sneaking in to play chess with her doesn´t really match with what we heard about Cinderella either. I really like the twist of bringing Wish Hook back. That way we can have him in Seattle while his normal version isn´t separated from Emma. Now we know how Hook and Regina ended up in the curse, only person left to somehow get mixed up in this is Rumple

About Colin O'Donoghue continuing, he admitted himself in interviews that he had time left on his contract still since he started in S2

A Pirate's Life- Thank you so much for another fabulous reaction for the first of my absolute favorite episodes this season, Jessie!! I absolutely love, love, love this episode!!! A Pirate's Life... Absolutely phenomenal!!! First... I absolutely love, love, love that Detective Rogers has turned out to be Wish Realm Hook instead of Killian like we all initially assumed he was. I never saw this incredible twist coming, but I absolutely love it. And it's another one of my absolute favorite twists throughout all of Once Upon a Time. I didn't expect we would ever see this Wish Realm Hook again, because he was initially meant to be just a character briefly seen in season six's episode... Tougher Than the Rest, and he wasn't supposed to be taken seriously either. And yet he's now back again with an all new incredible story arc, and I absolutely love it!!! What an absolutely marvelous twist!! Beautiful!!!! I love it so, so much!! And Wish Hook's story is my absolute favorite story arc throughout this entire season, because it's just so, so beautiful and phenomenal! And wow... this episode always makes me cry every time I watch it. Just because it is just so beautiful. A Pirate's Life is everything I wanted in an episode, and more. Like I said... I was so shocked that Wish Hook has turned out to become so much more of an intriguing and stronger character than I ever thought he could have been, because when he was first introduced back in season six's episode... Tougher Than the Rest, he was meant to be nothing more than a joke. And I kind of hated it. But I absolutely love how Wish Hook has now already become established as someone who is so much more, and with a very intriguing mystery surrounding his missing daughter, while his heart has mysteriously been poisoned by a witch so that he cannot save her. By the way... Cinderella/Jacinda is not Wish Hook's daughter. I figured it was safe to clarify this for you right away so that you don't continue to think this. In the past storyline... Wish Hook talks about how his daughter has been locked away inside a tower, and that his heart has been poisoned so that he can never be able to rescue her. This backstory alone doesn't fit Cinderella's story at all. And in the present, Hyperion Heights storyline, Rogers talks about how he is seeking to find this missing girl he has so far failed to save, which fits with him being unable to save his daughter in his past. And Rogers has spoken several times with Jacinda, indicating that she is not the missing girl he's looking for, and therefore... not his daughter. I hope this explanation helps, and makes sense. Now... I absolutely love the very first scene as Killian is training Henry, still played by Jared Gilmore. It is nice to see Killian sword fighting again. I didn't care how Henry reacted when Killian warned him not to take his eyes off the fight, but I get it. He was growing up and needed a chance to find his own place in the world. I also really love the message in a bottle idea. So sweet, and that first moment between him and Emma... Awe!!!! I just absolutely love seeing Killian and Emma moments where we see their love for one another. Next... I love it when Henry in the present day calls Emma, Killian, and Regina for help using Hook's bottle. Although I was surprised that Emma doesn't come right away. I also really love Hook's and Regina's entrance into this new fairytale realm now established as The New Enchanted Forest, as Hook takes down Lady Tremaine's men, then seeing Regina blast Drizella back. It is wonderful to see the three of them reunite. However, hearing Killian and Regina argue about Emma's "decision" was a little strange to me. In all honesty, they play Emma's secret of her being pregnant a little strangely, I think. The writers make it seem like Emma's life is in danger or something. Yet in the end... she's just fine, and she and Killian are soon going to have a baby. So, yeah... I don't really care much for how Killian and Regina are written to make Emma's pregnancy seem so much worse than what it is. Unless you look at this situation as Killian just being really worried about Emma because maybe her pregnancy hasn't been so easy on her so far. Maybe they had some kind of scare with the baby, and Killian is overly worried about her and his child. In which case, I would really like this. I just wish it had been written a little differently to explain this. But nonetheless... it works itself out. I absolutely love the moments between Rogers and Henry in Hyperion Heights, especially when Rogers comes to Henry asking him about the mysterious woman in his book and whether or not she's based off of someone real. He knows her deep inside of himself and I love it! I also really love seeing Rogers working with Weaver. Weaver's just like Rumplestiltskin and I couldn't wait to see where their partnership takes them. And I like how Roni warns Rogers to watch out for him. So exciting! And then at the dance recital when Rogers slips Henry the swan keychain instead of the bracelet like Weaver wanted... Fantastic! Again... it is kind of a weirdly written scene, and perhaps not acted too well as far as Robert Carlyle's performance is concerned. And given that he is a phenomenal actor... it's rare to see him act in a way that is so off for him. And yet... in the end, I also love that Weaver respects Rogers now, and explains to Rogers that he had chosen him to become his partner, because Rogers has a moral core. Which again... makes me that much more intrigued by Weaver and his true motives as well. He does test Rogers, and now... Weaver doesn't appear to be as much of a jerk like we initially thought. As for old drunk Wish Realm Hook... like I mentioned above, I didn't see this twist coming and I wasn't impressed at first, because I really hated him in the first episode he appeared in within season six. It was no fault to Colin O'Donoghue by any means. I just don't like seeing any version of Captain Hook... my all time favorite character throughout this entire show, appear that weak and pathetic. Because he isn't the Hook we all know and love. And yet by the end of this episode... or rather as soon as the true reasons for this Wish Realm version of Hook coming back into this show and why he is doing all he's doing, are revealed at last, I immediately came to love this twist very, very much!!! And I now absolutely love this version of Captain Hook as well!!! And now... we understand more of his reason for being, especially more so in this episode, as he's a weaker man and a fool because he lost his way and never found Emma, or his own True Love to guide him back to the man he truly is like Killian had found Emma years ago. And the more I thought about Wish Hook coming back into the show and the more I watched the first scene between him and Killian just before Wish Hook knocks Killian out, I found him to be quite funny in this episode. And Colin really plays both versions of Hook brilliantly. :) I really love that Wish Hook also goes to Lady Tremaine to become aged down into the Captain Hook we all know and love so he could try to steal Emma away from Killian, believing that Emma can do for him as she has done for Killian. And yet, this character is redeemed in this episode. I absolutely love this storyline for him, and new story arc for this new version of Hook!! :) I love hearing all about what is going on with the family back in Storybrooke from Regina when Henry asks her about everyone. Archie's wedding officiating has gone way up. And the Charmings are still happy and as much in love as ever. Yay! Then... Wish Realm Hook comes back to Regina and Henry waiting for him at the cottage in the woods and Emma finally comes in. And she's pregnant!!! Which was sadly spoiled for me because of the stupid spoilers that keep getting shoved in our faces before this episode even aired, no matter where we looked despite my efforts to avoid them. Nonetheless... I love that Emma has become pregnant. So good for her and for Killian. I am incredibly happy by this surprise, but I wish I didn't know about it before I watched the episode the night it aired. It should have been a complete surprise! Next... I love that Henry quickly catches onto Wish Hook and knows that something wasn't right with Killian right away, which was great. Wish Hook is just so funny in his scene with Henry just before Emma shows up. And I also love the moment Emma reveals she is pregnant, especially because we see how Wish Hook immediately regrets trying to take Killian away from his wife and soon to be born child. I love how Wish Hook states that he has always tried to be a good man, then that he leaves then to try to make things right. So beautiful. In the end... I really love, love, love where this story for Wish Hook takes us. I love that Wish Hook has a daughter he is desperately trying to find and save, and that he has also been cursed with a poisoned heart so that he can't be with her. My absolute favorite moment within this episode comes in the end... when Emma is able to heal Wish Hook upon him getting stabbed in his short lived fight against Killian, as Emma makes him believe that he is capable of True Love. Helps him to believe he can be healed so long as he believes in her. Because she knows her Killian, and that this Wish version of him is who Killian used to be... a man who was lost and desperately seeking a chance at a happy ending. To find True Love. This is a really, really beautiful moment between the three of them. And not only do I love seeing Emma save Wish Hook upon healing him, but I also absolutely love Killian's longing to save him as well, as he begs Emma to find the part inside of Wish Hook that was once him. I love that Killian's whole perspective and understanding of his other self changes so drastically upon him listening to Wish Hook tell him about his longing and desperate need to find and save his daughter. It's so, so beautiful!! It is kind of funny to see both Killians appearing together throughout this episode, especially in the ending. And Henry teams up with "other Hook" as Regina calls him, with Regina too. A new Operation! And finally... we now have learned that Officer Rogers within the present day Hyperion Heights storyline, is actually Wish Realm Hook because our Killian is back in Storybrooke with Emma living their happy ending. And I am so, so happy for this twist yet again!!! Apparently, the curse never reached as far as Storybrooke. And it explains why Killian and Regina are here in Hyperion Heights, while Emma isn't. Colin O'Donoghue really wanted to continue to play Hook and the creators were thrilled, but they knew that Jennifer Morrison was ready to move on and that the fans of this show would have been upset if they were to choose to separate Killian from Emma. So, they came up with the solution to have Wish Hook come back in to join the heroes. And it's a fabulous idea! And now we have yet to learn why Gold is here now too. All in all... Wish Realm Hook's story arc this season is absolutely beautiful. And I especially love his story arc throughout this episode. It's sad, but still beautiful because Rogers/Wish Hook is still much like Killian, and not the man I hated the first time we were introduced to him. And now they'll have to find his daughter somewhere within Hyperion Heights. And in the very end... I absolutely love how Rogers recalls Emma healing him that day in the harbor, even if his memory of it is tweaked by the curse. And this is exactly what his story is... his false memories caused by the curse coming through. He remembers Emma's face, but believes he had been shot, then saved by Emma holding her hand over his wound long enough for the ambulance to arrive. This goes to show that no matter how strong the dark curse is that has once again cursed this new realm and our characters, there are memories, or moments in one's life that are so powerful, and so life changing, that even magic as powerful as the dark curse, can't completely erase such pivotal moments such as this from one's mind. And Rogers most certainly remembers this moment as much as he's able to, because Emma's words, and hers and Killian's fight to save him really stuck with him and changed him so that he could be the best version of himself. I absolutely love this so, so much!!! :) And now... I love how now Rogers, Roni, and Henry have teamed up to look after one another, as they are now seeking out how to stop Victoria Bellfry. It's absolutely brilliant! :) All in all... a fabulous and beautiful episode! I love seeing Emma and Killian return home to Storybrooke to live happily ever after. And I am very, very excited for this new version of Killian now that he is no longer the man we first saw him as. I really do love this development. Thank you once more like always for another fabulous reaction for one of my absolute favorite episodes of Once Upon a Time, Jessie!! I absolutely loved watching your reaction! And until your continued reactions for more Once Upon a Time, season seven... Sincerely, Heidi

The "new realm" that the new Cinderella is from is very creatively just called "New Enchanted Forest"
