2022-07-12 09:46:55 +0000 UTCI still do the "Whatever Major Lose" to this day. It always seemed funny to me. xD. I must be a sucker for cheesiness because the canoe scene had me giggly and blushy. So....I kind of saw the Jonas Brothers before they were famous. They were opening for Aly and AJ and I had no idea who they were. Like I knew Mandy and Year 3000, but other than that, I was clueless. Joe can play guitar, but he always was the one with the mic and tambourine. Sometimes he'd play the keyboard, but he was always the middle man. This is kind of their first acting role. I think they are a little better in their Jonas series, but it's still really cheesy. But honestly, I think that was the goal of the show. Nick is actually the better actor of the brothers. He was in several Broadway shows and seemed to be good in those. At this time though, I think Joe wanted to get into acting and....here we are. Peggy is kind of the best character <_< The second lead in Hasta La Vista, the dancer in the blue shirt, played Zandaya's brother on Shake it Up. Tess is the worst, but I love the scene at the end when she breaks down. Something about that always made me kind of empathetic for her. Here I am is one of my favorite songs. As an angsty tween, I felt the message hard lol I love how you and Joe started to sing at the same time xD Demi and Joe's voices do blend together really well. I can see why Disney kept marketing them and having them sing together all the time xD There's a deleted song called "our time is here" that features all the girls that have the same vibe as the first song. <_< I think it's nostalgia. *Shrugs* the second one is more "musical" than the first.

2022-07-12 05:01:16 +0000 UTCYeaaah... I was expecting this. lol. There is some good stuff in here, some of the songs are nice. But it´s obvious why this didn´t become a trilogy. This was after HSM3 and they clearly didn´t manage to replicate it. The writing is just kinda bad. And while Demi and the Jonas Brothers are famous now, they were still more or less at the beginning of their careers when that movie happened. This was their first acting gigs, I think? Which also explains why the acting isn´t amazing either. But then again, with an... ok(?) script you can´t do much. It´s been a while, but as far as I remember the 2nd movie is significantly better though. As for song predictions for HSM. Yeah the Jonas Brothers song seems likely. And I could see "This is me" happening too. Specifically for Nini. I know she isn´t much in the season, but if they continue to give her the "I´m figuring out who I am and what I want to do" storyline I think that song could fit very well.
