Stepmother plays Fiona in Burn Notice, Drucilla plays Mary in Reign. Cinderella was in Devious Maids and Heroes, and more.

It def has it's ups and downs and is by far the worst season on the 7, but we are still going strong! 4 episode left to go lol

Jessie Dobbie Reactions

Also if you didn't notice all the portals are the same as Doctor Strange Doctor Strange just came out right before season 7 Disney kept the CGI also the CGI for Once Upon a Time season 7 got cut in half but you're very generous on the CGI on the show so I'm sure you won't notice a difference we find out who gives the magic bean to Henry and later episodes Henry wrote the first book and published it Once Upon a Time book that's how he knows everything So lady Tremaine was interesting but she looks familiar because she was part of the main cast in Burn Notice if he ever watched that show To be honest the original animation Disney Cinderella would be awesome if you watch on patreon or something like that And drizella did a fantastic job she's actually from rain a CW Show Also a little side note in the ratings Department last season in season 6 episode 4 the Cinderella Centric episode ratings were the highest out of all the seasons but it was because there was a presidential speech that got interrupted in Once Upon a Time and people left their TVs on after that but the network that people love Cinderella so that was one of the reasons why they continue the Cinderella storyline but in my opinion it was because of the presidential speech Also yes we get to see old characters and have beautiful closure speaking of that episode 2 will be something they will be doing moving forward and this is not a spoiler but just to get you excited there is a Halloween episode which is going to be the first holiday episode that once upon a time has ever done which was very exciting I was wondering if you could put up the Halloween Once Upon a Time logo I'll message it to you it's episode 4 season 7

I love Alice in all versions. Although I love OUATIW, I kind of prefer this Alice. I love the actress and it's just feels like Alice.

Shay-Thelogicaldreamer

That's a perfect description of how I felt about Alice!

Thank you for the suggestions! I'm excited to see what happens and happy that there are at least some familiar faces along the way. Hope you have a good week too!

I'm being really annoying with the picture, but pretty much the only thing I don't like about it is the part that says season 7 LOL I feel like it should be in a different font or something, bu that's just me nagging!

Jessie Dobbie Reactions

Aha! I though there was a cemetery. but it dissipated. That's interesting.

Jessie Dobbie Reactions

I'm so excited to be starting season 7!

I just noticed your Eleventh doctor on your shelf and I love him. Like you were talking and that's all I could focus on xD "rough rugged-looking Belle" *snickers* The Animated Cinderellas are probably the best since they have "Drizella and Anastasia." Maybe even Cinderella Twist in time. It's probably the best of the movies because you can see the personalities of all the characters really shine through...and it's my favorite? *bats eyes* I'm going to a Con this weekend and I'm dressing as Anastasia from Cinderella, so it's kind of perfect lol The Black Fairy's curse was broken in the finale. This is a new curse. This Alice kind of represents the line "We're all mad here" and actually gives me Hatter/Cheshire vibes. I'm happy you like this. Is this the best season? no. But I genuinely like this season and I wish we got more of this world because I like the characters. We saw Emma in this episode. ;) There's a twist this season that I really love and I can't wait until you get to it.

Shay-Thelogicaldreamer

Ok, that makes me relieved lol

yes we will see some familiar faces again :) here are some photos you could use: https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTjl8RPdyYTG40MTESa4VVif2AyR96STA8mBA&usqp=CAU https://i.pinimg.com/originals/0d/30/29/0d3029a49330d461de6a844e7d37958d.jpg this one i think is a fanart photo but i still think you could use it! and it looks cool lol https://i.pinimg.com/originals/9f/ab/50/9fab50023a883175d05b20b2fa1b7273.jpg i totally felt the same way with this first episode! i wasn’t crazy sold on the idea at the end of season 6, but after the first episode i was actually pretty into it. i watched it similarly to how you did where it was kind of whenever i wanted and i could watch stuff back to back since i started watching in like 2019/2020. but, i understand how people who had been watching the series as it was coming out would have been a little more upset abt the change. this is the last season of a series they had been watching along with for 6+ years and for the last season to be a switch would be a little disappointing. regardless i love the way it still feels like ouat, just with new faces! thank you for this reaction!! i can’t wait for more. have a good week! ❤️

The Black Fairy had nothing to do with this curse. The only curse Fiona was responsible for was the one at the end of Season 6. This curse is a totally separate one. Actually, you'll soon start to figure out what the deal is with Alice. Personally, Alice is my favorite character of Season 7. She has the cutest personality. Emma does return, as do several others; they're just not regulars this season. Funny side note, the background picture was the exact one I was planning on sending you. Since the entire season takes place in Seattle, there really isn't anything else fitting other than the Seattle skyline. And this season is different than previous seasons, as in there are not two separate story arcs for each half of the season. All the episodes just kind of run together. I'm actually not even sure which episode is the midseason finale.

I really like season 7! I feel like people are a bit too hard on it because they miss the old cast. By the way, don´t worry, it´s not the last time you see them. And I understand that reason. But I really like those new characters! Alice is fun, I didn´t really get evil vibes from her. She simply said to Henry to not get involved with someone elses story. And that Rumple send her to look after him. Sure she is a bit weird, but not evil per se. Cinderella is a bit weak, in my opinion, but I still enjoy the moments between her and Henry. As for the stepmother and Drizella, we don´t really see much of them. But Victoria definitely feels similar to season 1 Regina. She is concerned for Lucy and her "delusions" etc. By the way, you missed a little detail at the beginning, because Dobbie distracted you. Henry got a swan keychain. -> Emma Swan. Also, when Henry went to the cemetery things didn´t just "change" he wanted to bring flowers to his dead wife and child. But apparently whoever casted the curse was kinda sloppy and forgot to create a fake cemetery for Henry to visit. So now Henry notices some inconsistencies. Since you didn´t hear his name. Rumple is now Weaver. As in "weaving gold" so similarly to Rogers it´s a reference to his story. Weirdly enough Roni is the only one I can´t think of a connection for her cursed name.

Hyperion Heights- Yay!!! Thank you so much for your first reaction for Once Upon a Time... season seven, Jessie!! I enjoyed your reaction to this episode a lot, and I really enjoy this episode a lot too. This episode was very much a reminisce of the Pilot episode because there are several comparisons. From Henry's and Cinderella's first meeting, which is not nearly as beautiful as Snow's and Charming's because let's be honest... I am biased and love them so much, but still enjoyable, to Lucy coming to bring Henry to town to break the curse that's over them like Henry does for Emma, and to the flower being like the clock tower in Storybrooke moving forward, etc... This is most certainly a really great start, and I was so, so happy to see Colin O'Donoghue, Lana Parrilla, Robert Carlyle, and Jared Gilmore all reprise their roles throughout this episode as well. Both as themselves in this new realm, and under their cursed identities as well. Sadly, the reason for a majority of the original cast members not coming back is because of contract issues. The entire original cast were initially contracted for six seasons. When their contracts ended, a number of the actors chose not to resign for this final season. Ginnifer Goodwin (Snow) and Josh Dallas (Charming) chose not to come back because they wanted to stay home and raise their family without acting full time. And Jennifer Morrison (Emma) chose not to sign on again because she was ready to move on to new projects. This is why a majority of this season has been recasted with all new characters, plus the few actors we know and love from seasons one through six who chose to remain in the show for its final season, as they take on new roles... or roles of characters who have become cursed once again to become new characters. Nonetheless... this doesn't necessarily mean we won't be seeing some of the missing actors we love. I mean... we see Rogers staring down at a picture of Emma within Henry's storybook after all. You may be surprised by things to come. :) And I really love Andrew J. West who plays adult Henry. I think that the casting is phenomenal for him because Andrew looks so much like Jared grown up and his acting is spit on. He has a lot of Jared's mannerism's, and I just really like how Andrew J. West plays this adult version of Henry. :) As for Cinderella... she's just okay for me. I'm not really a fan of Dania Ramirez. This actress does a good enough job. I definitely like and certainly appreciate the twist on her story. And I do somewhat see a little chemistry between her and Henry. However, their chemistry is very weak for me. Of course... perhaps it's because I'm once again a bit too biased, given that I am used to, and love both Emma and Killian, as well as Snow and Charming, and Regina and Robin so much. It's alittle hard to get used to a whole new way of thinking with a smaller, less familiar cast this season. Plus... we already have another version of Cinderella from season one's episode... The Price of Gold, and season six's episode... The Other Shoe. So, at first... it was hard for me to wrap my head around there being a whole new version of Cinderella, as well as Alice, who we get to know a version of in Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. As for Alice... I didn't really get enough of a feeling of her in this first episode, but she's interesting and intriguing so far. And so far... I like her. I especially love that she does feel much more like Alice in Wonderland to me, than the version of Alice in Once Upon a Time in Wonderland ever did for me. Drizella, we don't really see too much of either. But so far, she's a real witch just like her mother, and I am most certainly intrigued by her. Lady Tremaine... Cinderella's stepmother and Drizella's mother is pretty great, in a witchy kind of way. She isn't nearly as strong as the Evil Queen is by any means, nor do I like her as I have loved the Evil Queen or Zelena back when they first started out as villains, However, Lady Tremaine is a great addition to the show and the actress offers a promising start. As for Lucy... she has definitely grown on me a little since we saw her briefly in the season six finale episodes... The Final Battle Parts One and Two, but I still don't like her nearly as much as I loved Henry from the beginning. I feel that I am a bit biased, because I love Henry so much, and feel so much more of a connection towards him than I ever feel with Lucy. She's cute though. And I love Hook's, Regina's, and Rumple's cursed names and their characters a lot. Officer... now Detective Rogers, Roni, and Detective Weaver. I was so curious about all three of them from the beginning. And I really love their cursed personas as well. Just you wait!! :) I was especially excited to see where the partnership between Rogers and Weaver was going when I first watched this episode, and I absolutely hoped to see more between Rogers and Henry. A relationship I've always wished we had seen more of within seasons two through six. I love the scenes and moments between Killian and Henry. :) I also really looked forward to seeing Weaver's background and what has possibly made him apparently a villain again. Alice speaks very dubiously of Rumplestiltskin. After all, he is still the Dark One. But is he a villain, or something more? And of course... I really looked forward to seeing the development between Roni and Henry, a relationship I have always loved between mother and son. There's lots in store between these two. Just you wait! So far... while I am absolutely excited and intrigued by seeing you get to know the new characters brought in, I am most interested in seeing your reactions to the development between the characters we know and love from seasons one through six. :) Overall... an excellent beginning, just as Lucy tells Henry... that every story needs a beginning. And this is Henry’s story, which I really, really love. I can't wait for more reactions from you, especially for the next episode, Jessie!!! Episode two is absolutely one of my overall favorite episodes from season seven, so I can't wait!!! Thank you again, so much! Until next time... Sincerely, Heidi

Loved the reaction! It’s pretty confusing Id say for the first episode, stuff will really start to make sense after episode 4. No spoilers- you will get your goodbyes. No need to worry! Can’t wait till next week!!!
