Small mutual aid update
Added 2022-07-19 06:54:27 +0000 UTCHi all, as I'm sure many if not most of you are aware, I pledged back in January to donate all my patreon income to mutual aid. That hasn't changed. Thing is, I've been fuckin bad about keeping track of it My donations are sent out irregularly, and, despite my initial plans to track every donation I made on a spreadsheet with receipts which I could provide to you all, I've been real shit about doing that. The money still getting sent out, but, as always, I'm kind of a disorganized mess with an eternal spoon debt, so that hasn't happened. To make this whole project more manageable for me, I've decided that until further notice, instead of seeking out specific individual gofundmes or paypal requests as I have done, I'm going to send most, if not all of my money to organizations. At the moment, I'm thinking I'll be funding the Black Trans Travel Fund. From what I've seen / heard they do good work, and are a trustworthy org (which was my main concern re: donating to an organization, the risk that I might give to a charity that misappropriates funds or something like that). If anyone has other recommendations for good organizations I'm all ears. And actually, at the moment, I'm very interested in trying to find an organization / fund which helps trans masc folks in need of abortion access, so if any of y'all know of a good fund for that hit me up, as google searches aren't returning shit. That's about it from me. You can also expect a couple more chapters of Love in a Murderous Place soon, so look forward to that!
