Bonus Video: Linda McCartney | Photographer, Muse, Musician, Activist

Hey everybody,

Here's October's Bonus Video!
Thank you to Patreon Kate Harrington for the excellent suggestion. It was really lovely spending time focusing on Linda's many achievements throughout her life and the significant impact she's had on photography and animal rights, in particular.

Let me know your thoughts in the comments to this Patreon post.

the reggae songs were produced also by the legend Lee scratch perry which is so odd! i love them. i guess they've found in jamaica what they couldn't in nigeria back at the time.. anyways try to re-evaluate love's full glory and endless days, they're such good songs. I guess we should consider linda not to be exclusively part of wings or the wife and collaborator of a classic rock (etc.) star but maybe a more experimental artist when delivering those kind of songs. see those songs are so pure and make me think of her personal style in that situation to be rather like daniel johnston or some naive rock/folk indie artist. love the video btw, it's good to have subscribed

She really was an amazing cook! Her "Linda McCartney’s Family Kitchen" cookbook, which Paul, Mary and Stella revised in 2021 is by far my wife and I's favorite cookbook! The recipes are 100% plant based, easy to make and so delicious 😻

Inexplicably, Seaside Woman was my #1 most listened to song on Spotify last year. I listened to it over 70 times! I just love its infectious energy.🐠🩵

As someone who grew up veggie. If you find them I recommend those sausages, same with the burgers and meatballs!

I realise the sound in the 'Linda McCartney Foods' commercial bit got all messed up. Here's the link to it and apologies to your speakers! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2r0LWOmohU

I gotta say Linda's my favorite Beatle wife, too, with Olivia Harrison being a close second. I tried cooking her garlic bread recipe (that I first heard about from when it aired the Beatles Station on Sirius XM), and it was very tasty. I'll probably take a crack at one of her other recipes, too. I also love her photography, especially with George Harrison with the tambourine on his head. She sounds so cool that I aspire to be like her.

Wow- this exceeded my expectations! She was quite disrespected by the media for many years, but she was so integral to Paul’s post-Beatles career. Really, there was no Ram or Wings without her. Plus, I had no ideA about the album of her work that Paul published, so that was a nice surprise. Thank you and great job!
