RE: Mono - They took on the sound direction role on their songs from Rubber Soul on, so those albums esp. are good cause to get the mono versions. The ones prior, mono got the main focus from George Martin & Co. because most of their young fans played it on cheap mono devices. That being said, '68 (The White Album) is the rare case where both will still communicate the artists' intention.
