Thank you so much for your fantastic work! It’s a fun little video examining why the movie just doesn’t work on fundamental levels. There was the kernel of some good ideas in the movies, but it just failed utterly in execution. A Bowie biopic sounds like a decent idea, but I’d rather not be going against the estate’s wishes. A documentary on one period in Bowie’s life might work, provided it’s told compellingly (like that “Last Five Years” documentary, but focusing on a more obscure time in Bowie’s life). As for a music biopic I’d like to see, my thoughts turn to Iron Maiden making The Number of the Beast. It’d involve Bruce’s introduction to the band and Steve Harris becoming more trusting of others’ creative input.
