Letting Smaller Things Exist

Today I want to talk about something that’s easier to explain to the people already here...
Yesterday I made last year's Ty Guy Christmas video public on YouTube.
It was originally made just for patrons, and I didn't want it to live its entire life locked away. Stuff like this represents an important part of why I started making things in the first place: smaller goofy projects that exist alongside the big ones. That balance matters to me, even when the algorithm doesn't particularly care for it.
I mainly wanted to say thank you to the people who where here when this was first made, and who continue to support my work now. Your support is what allows me to experiment, take occasional side roads, and keep working at a pace that doesn't burn everything down.
Big, long-running projects tend to pull in very different audiences with very different expectations. That comes with noise, and I'm learning (slowly) how to tune that out and stay focused on the work itself. What matters more to me is that this space exists, and that the people here understand what I'm trying to make and how I work.
Shrek 2 Retold is still in progress. It's taking longer than I ever wanted it to, and that's frustrating on my end too. I'm still here, still working on it, and still committed to finishing something I can actually stand behind.
If you revisited the Ty Guy video, or watched it for the first time, thank you. And if it's not your thing, that's OK too. I appreciate you being here regardless :)

by the way, one question, will there be a post announcing when the last time to get into the credits of shrek 2 retold when thats about to release? i been wanting to change my tier to the 10 dollar one so my name can appear in the credits of the films, but life gets in the way and i needed to spend money to the house, like groceries to cook lunch and buying new things to replace broken stuff and even get a lot less money for months making me not buy a lot of things and save on money, meaning i been a 5 dollar tier since then, i dont wanna miss the opportunity to have my name in a incredible project like this, so i was wondering if there would be some kind of post announcing the final day to get your name in the credits of the movie before you it render, thanks for reading this if you saw this and ill wait for an anwser, have a nice one
