July Voice Intensive - Join us! All levels welcome

Aloha, Patrons!

After a 6-month hiatus, I am excited to bring back the live Patreon Voice Workshop as a month-long Voice Intensive. I love doing voice work, and I've really missed these online sessions! Look forward to seeing the regular attendees, and hope to see some new faces!

We'll meet 6 times during July, and you can join live on Zoom, watch on YouTube, or watch the recording after. By upgrading to the $30 Voice Workshop tier for the month of July, you'll have access to all of this month's Patreon events (the Voice Intensive, All-Levels Live Lesson, Mindful Beginner Jam, Intermediate Level-Up Jam), as well as the archives of our previous Voice Workshop sessions. (I'll explain below about how to upgrade, and how to avoid extra Apple app fees)

My goal is to kick start a regular practice of voice and breath work for anyone who is interested. My personal vocal practice is more than just for singing and performing; it is part of my daily wellness. The condition of my voice is directly related to my overall physical and mental health. And after observing the journeys of thousands of people participating in the 100 Days of Ukulele challenge (congratulations to all who posted this year!), I believe that voice and breath work can help unlock the next level of confidence in music (and in life too).

This month's Voice Intensive will be all-levels, no experience necessary, with a focus on breathing and basic intonation warmups, for a more relaxed and resonant voice. Voice Workshop Dates

• We'll meet on Tuesdays at 10am Hawaii Time, on July 8, 15, 22, 29. 

• We'll meet on Thursdays at 1:30pm Hawaii Time (one hour before the Beginner Jam and Intermediate Jam) on July 10 and 24.

• Find all Patron events on our Patron Google Calendar (set on Pacific Time, click the bottom right corner to add to Google calendar in your own time zone).

How to sign up

To join the Voice Intensive, please change your Patreon tier to our $30 JULY VOICE WORKSHOP tier for this month.  You can change the tier back to whatever level you like after the Voice Intensive.

• To change your tier, go to https://patreon.com/join/cynthialin. Choose to Join the $30 JULY VOCAL WORKSHOP. You will only be charged for the difference to upgrade to this tier from your previous tier. Please double check that your monthly total charge is $30 USD. If the total to join is higher than $30, wait and read below...

• 🚨 Apple/iPhone Users – Avoid Extra App Fees! 🚨All new subscriptions made in the Patreon app after November 2024 are subject to a new Apple "app fee", which results in a 43% markup (!!) on top of the Patreon subscription prices that I set, all of which goes directly to Apple. Unfortunately, this upcharge isn't obvious when you're on the app (for instance, the $10 tier is presented as $14.50 on the app). If you were subscribed to me before November 2024, then you shouldn't see any fee markup. If you're a new subscriber, make sure that you upgrade via the Patreon website to avoid this extra markup. You can use the browser on your laptop/computer or even on your mobile device, just as long as you don't go through the Patreon app on your Apple device. More info about this issue from Patreon here. You can still use the app to see posts at your new tier once you've upgraded via the website. Patreon is working to help support creators through this change, and I will keep you updated about any changes.
