The Legend Of Korra 2x3 | "Civil Wars: Part 1" Full Length Reaction

Great reaction as always, you guys are great. This is the part of LOK that is essentially everyone’s least favorite, but I think a lot of of it is really good this is the first episode I thought was great. While Korra is frustrating you guys are pretty much dismissing her whole perspective. You can’t have a conversation about how Korra is acting towards her dad and Tenzin without talking about how they lied to her. Her dad being banished is a big deal to her which I think is reasonable, even though I disagree, but the big thing is that they lied to her about why she had to be isolated down in the southern water tribe. Every other avatar travel the world and that’s what Korra wanted more than anything. The fact that it wasn’t Aang she should be cooped up and it was her dad and Tenzin is a huge betrayal to Korra. wow I don’t think Korra acts great in this first couple episodes pretending she’s doing it for no reason it’s just untrue. There’s a reason she’s going against these people who have been in her corner this whole time. I don’t understand how you guys don’t blame Tenzin and her dad for a lot of this too. Korras avatar status was beliittled in the first season so after her defeat of Amojnshe feels like she’s now an accomplished avatar so her being babied like this is super frustrating and I think we can honestly say that they should’ve told her at some point in season one or in between the seasons. And she does no Unalaq is family he’s her uncle so she is still going with her family. It’s not like she’s going with a stranger while her and her uncles and her cousin relationship is never portrayed as close but It is portrayed as familiar. She has every reason in the world to trust Your Unalaq she’s not viewing it like the audience. I think you guys should have way more smoke for Tenzin and her dad. I think often times people have all their smoke for Korra without thinking about the context. I think the only person who really is innocent is Mako. I won’t say frustrating Korra is totally done, but most of it is but you also have to see it from her perspective.To judge someone you actually have to put yourself in their shoes as well.
