Update - April 2019

Time for updating already? Things are going fast this year, it feels like.

First off, I've got progress being made on a couple previous projects, so expect to see something... well, a few minutes after I post this, actually!

I've been slow (as usual) on most other things, but character designs have been going fairly well at least! And now that the weather has warmed up where I am, that means more opportunities to head outside and practice drawing. I'll dump some sketches here in the future too, perhaps.

Regarding commissions... I've put it off long enough, best way I'm gonna break through some of the mental blocks is just to start up again. I'll make a proper post sometime this week, publicly available but with patron priority for both the announcement and for slots. No tier requirements for that or anything, consider it part of the whole "early access" thing.

On that subject as well, I'm overdue for reworking the tiers, or at least their descriptions! I'd like to make it all clearer from the time people land on my page, what tiers get what. With how slow I've become lately, I think it would be wise to clarify that while I aim to release pictures monthly, that's not a scheduled thing; people who  pledge on here will have early access to the works I make when I make them, it's still primarily a tip jar or a high-res access service.

It's a little difficult for me to finish a picture and then have to sit on it before posting publicly, in all honesty. That feedback I get from comments and other interactions is such a huge boost to motivation after putting in that work of creating it. That is why I prefer to keep the early access a bit short; Patreon gets my artworks basically the moment I finish them (often before I've even had the time to write a little blurb to go with them), and I save the public posts for when it's a more reasonable time and I've had a moment to write something to go with them. I don't feel that my tier descriptions really convey this, so I'd like to clarify that a bit, and maybe figure out some extra bonuses for patrons (besides the WIPs that are also generally Patreon-exclusive).
