November mini-update
Added 2018-11-16 16:15:37 +0000 UTCAt the halfway mark for the month, again! Gee, that goes fast.
I've just got a quick update on the Lissa + Ruri donut scene for you all, today. The last I posted about it was this poll regarding some possible alt-views of the scene; the results ended up being fairly even across the board, and I stalled out a bit on the project around the same time (a little unhappy with how some of the posing was going, and still a little indecisive on progression).
I've had plenty of time to think on it now, so after taking that time... I think I would like to just go for it and make an image sequence/series out of the whole thing. 2-4 images most likely, leaning towards 3 and making use of a couple of those voted-on views. ^^
Posing is still going to be a bit tricky, and the whole project is going to be more complex due to each image progressing the scene a little further... but ultimately I think it'll make the whole thing easier to tackle, and I haven't really done much with sequences before! You can probably expect to see another WIP or two before the end of the month, I'm making that my main focus for the time being.

Aside from that... With Issa's design done, I'd like to hurry along with Vela's design to go with her, so look for that soon-ish as well. And there's one other thing I'd like to tack onto the previous project list, and that is drawing/painting practice; this may or may not be Paeratopa-themed, but I've just been really inspired lately by artists I'm finding on Pixiv and elsewhere, and I'd like to have another go at what was once my primary focus, digital painting.
And, on the latter point. I may be reaching the point of needing a new pen tablet if I'm going to paint or draw, since my current tablet is somewhere around 15 years old now (and showing its age). To be honest I'm shocked it still seems to work, rough as it is, but it's overdue for replacement. New tablets are unfortunately kinda pricey, but that's a part of why I started Patreon in the first place, to be able to fund that sort of equipment for my work. Cyber Monday and Christmas are both on the way, so maybe the time will come sooner rather than later? I've always wanted a medium-sized Cintiq...
