Commission Prices
Added 2018-03-18 21:01:38 +0000 UTCSo something has been on my mind recently, and its the idea that I am a bit too cheap with my commissions. And since I have gotten to know you guys fairly well, I trust you all and wanted to get your opinion on my commission prices. Like one of my previous polls, please view this as if you were in my position alright.

Again, this is something I want to do for a living, and I want to try to earn more to support myself while also being fair and open with everything to you all. And keep in mind, that when I say increase in prices, I mean only like five to ten dollars, nothing too crazy. If you can comment some ideas too just let me know :D.

I think that the prices are good. And its kinda hard to say stylistically I don't know how much you put into each work like I known with mine I'm slow but my process is sketch redraw line art color shading etc. I don't know if your process takes a lot more then that because if it doesn't take an immense amount more effort the prices are good for what it is. Same with backgrounds your complex backgrounds are really good and I can see they probably take a good bit of work just like a character so I would leave that. However i don't know how you charge extra on a per character basis and if that could be touched up. Overall I think that the prices are really good and unusually for an artist both your background and character art add a lot when you do them where other artists the backgrounds are just kinda filler or bland. So as an end of my ramble I think all your prices are very good as is. I think if you feel like you're doing a lot of extra with your art then they could go up a bit but I really don't think you have to reinvent the wheel when you do your style. I like it a lot but its not like 5 years of toil to produce Hope this made sense n_n
