Apprentice Update | May

There have been a number of projects since my last update that I have been involved in.
We have removed the valves from the Meteor head using the special tool we created specifically for the task.
I have also been helping to prepare and repaint the FV4005 barrel and turret. We knocked out the wood blocking it and then used the Chieftain cleaning brush to remove all the stones and house brick which were behind it.
It was Tiger Day a couple of weeks ago. For most of the day I was talking on the PAK 43/41. During the display I was commanding the Comet.
I am now at college for a week focusing on hydraulic systems and working on a MGB measuring brake pads and brake discs.
