Howdy!

For context, I've been kinda "done" with most social media posting for a while, but I still stream a bit on twitch. I also still upload full-rez pngs and announce slot-openings for comms in my discord server. Free to access as always, as I hate to paywall.

I'm just posting this here so that anyone actively supporting me but unaware knows what's up, and how I've been shifting gears after years of posting too many pictures of Mike the Hedgehog and His Friends saying something off-beat in 3/4ths view (I still draw those. I just post less).

It's still my goal to get out of my comfort zone with tackling stuff beyond what immediately interests me, and building up skills and stamina I wouldn't have otherwise by drawing for you guys. Payment is a motivation to fulfill these promises to myself than anything, so I tend to keep my rates low and don't paywall stuff for the same reasons. I also always had other IRL obligations to take care of, but sometimes had to compromise for the sake of fulfilling promises on comm work on-time. Posting less means reduced demand for comms and not needing to keep an eye on socials, which works nicely with that in-mind.

All the same, your support is the one thing I refuse to take for granted. For that reason, I'll pause billing for months where I don't open as many slots or get as much work done as I'd like, and outright freeze the patreon if any big periods of inactivity gets in the way, as that wouldn't be fair to any of you. I never "needed" this for money, but it rocks that I have it as an option, so even if only for my own sake I'd like to keep the lights on.

Since I've been less accessible these days, I want to make all of this very clear so I'm not coasting on people just handing me money automatically. Most of you joined via Twitch, are in the server, and/or read similar announcements, so again this is just for anyone who joined by other means and aren't in-the-know.

Also, if you're a $2 supporter and you just wanted to see more personal art from me without ever ordering comms, and don't see as much in the discord as you'd like, just feel free to reach out and ask. I'm always happy to share and talk at excessive length about little things I'm working on, as you know well enough. I've had some considerations of shifting to posting animatics to youtube-- but that's an "if", so we'll get there if and when we get there.

Comms will open at least once a month still (bi-weekly, ideally), but as always, please feel free to join or leave as you'd like. Your support is never an obligation, and I'll always be grateful for it.
