KUNG FU PANDA - Full Length Reaction!

Comments

I'll make sure to go back and watch it whenever I react to Kung Fu Panda 2!

Addie Counts

"The Dark Knight Rises" is the only movie I'm aware of that she's seen with him in it.

Addie, have you watched 500 days of summer or 50/50? some JGL

(VERY URGENT) Addie, there's a post-credits scene.

I was hoping that you might have recognized hearing Tai Lung's voice actor but I knew you would recognize his name after watching all of the JW movies. JW would have his hands full, pun intended, with Po if they fought without weapons. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Take care of yourself, Addie!! Hope to see Ollie soon!!

Super happy you loved this movie, Addie! Po is such a great character. I really felt for him and how not only did he want to learn Kung Fu so badly, but no one gave him the single chance. It even had a subtext of self loathing when he talked to Shifu. Like he was just miserable as himself and he wanted to be anything else but him. Really shocked that something that complex and mature is in an animated movie. Something kids and adults can enjoy. Tai Lung is such a great villain. I know that he's responsible for his choices, but at the same time, you can feel for him when he was arguing with Shifu. Shifu placed all these expectations on him, telling him he was destined for greatness, pushing him so far until thats all that he could think about. The weight of expectations can absolutely break a person, especially when placed on from a parental figure that you love and look up to. Shifu made him what he is, and Tai Lung just wanted his father to be proud of the work he put in, but really, it was never enough for Shifu. Now I know you loved How to Train Your Dragon, and this may be blasphemous but.... I think the Kung Fu Panda trilogy is even better than How to Train Your Dragon. And much like the sequel.... the next one is even better than the first, so I'm really excited for you to check out Kung Fu Panda 2. See you next time, Addie!

BTW, I'm so glad that you were able to handle seeing Viper in this movie, since she was a green tree snake.

Happy Friday, Addie! 😊 I'm surprised this one ended up winning the poll. I am glad that "Iron Giant" was a close second. Meaning that you'll most likely watch that one at some point as well. This one of my favorite animated movie trilogies alongside the "How To Train Your Dragon" one. Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Have a great day today & a great weekend! 😊

Happy Friday, Addie. I'm so glad that you enjoyed Kung Fu Panda (2008). As an Asian-American, this is one of my favorite animated movies that I watched, growing up. The moment Po uses a chair that's strapped with fireworks to get to the Dragon Warrior festival, his mishaps in the Training Hall, and him fighting Master Shifu for the last dumpling was hilarious. I do hope that you'll skadoosh your way through the entire Kung Fu Panda film series by watching its two sequels as well. I'm looking forward to watching it again this weekend, probably after seeing Expend4bles (2023) in Dolby Cinema with my girlfriend, tomorrow. See you soon for The Iron Giant (1999). That movie was only THREE votes behind.
