The soundtracks from all of these films was always great. But my favorite from this one was Space Hogs' "In The Meantime." Perfect timing.

So one thing that's super touching that you might have missed is about when Groot said "I love you guys." He wasn't magically speaking another language all of a sudden. That was specifically for the audience. Because, like Gamora, we've spent a while with Groot. The audience has been with him long enough that we can now understand what he's saying. Thats such a cute thing to do because like the Guardians, we found family with them. This is definitely a type of "Endgame" with the Guardians, just like No Way Home was for Spider-Man. We will see several Guardians again, but its the end of a chapter for sure.

James Gunn pointed out that one heartbreaking aspect that some people missed was the Gamora/Groot relationship. Gamora was a mother-figure to Groot in Guardians 2, and the lost relationship hit Groot hard. In other news, Lylla was voiced by Linda Cardellini, who also played Laura Barton (Clint's wife). (She also played on "Freaks and Geeks" which you should totally add to your TV list if you haven't yet)

Luis Fernandez

That was us finally being able to understand Groot.

Finding out and hearing, “Hurts.” was Rocket’s first word set the mood for this movie. 🥺😭

Guardians 3 and Hacksaw are my most anticipated reactions from you. I'm very excited for this week's content. I'll also suggest you watch "Band of Brothers" a 9 episode mini series that follows the true story of a group for soldiers through the last half WW2 following the invasion of Normady. Everybody should watch this show at least once in their life to get glimpse into the life of a these men.

Gunn also already directed hit DC projects like The Suicide Squad (2021) and the show Peacemaker which is a spin off from that movie...those are set in the "DCEU" which is the past DC universe that is getting rebooted, but some of those characters in those two projects are getting rebooted to the DCU with the same actor portraying them...the DCEU does have some gems u can react to

James Gunn is a genius...he is also now the co-head of DC Studios with producer Peter Safran and is starting a new DC universe called the "DCU" with a show next year, and the first movie being Superman: Legacy in 2025, so hopefully u can react to those...also other DC universes like the "Joker" universe will continue with its sequel coming next year (if u haven't seen Joker u should)…and "The Batman" universe which has spin off shows like "The Penguin" coming next year and then sequel movie "The Batman: Part II" coming in 2025 (ik u reacted to The Batman already)…anyways great reaction as always

Did you mean, Addie?

Happy Monday, Addie! 😊 I've been looking forward to your reaction for this one ever since I saw this movie. I'm definitely going to be watching this right away. You are correct. This third installment was an emotional rollercoaster pretty much from the very beginning. One thing that I should've done before I watched this movie, and I still need to do, is read up more on the Adam Warlock character. I knew that he was from the comics. But that's about it. Needless to say, Will Poulter did do a good job portraying that character. So many times I thought we were going to lose Rocket. And then I thought we were going to lose Peter Quill. Overall, this was a great way to wrap up this trilogy. Rocket is leading a new team of Guardians. And Quill went home, and reunited with his grandfather. I am slightly bummed that we didn't get a Star-Lord and Gamora reunion. But she found her family with the Ravagers. Fun Fact: The actress that voiced Lyla the Otter is Linda Cardellini. She played Clint Barton/Hawkeye's wife Laura. For some more movies with Will Poulter(Adam Warlock), I VERY HIGHLY recommend the "Maze Runner" trilogy. Up next in the MCU: the show "Secret Invasion". Then you'll be all caught up! Have a great day today! 😊

Happy Monday, Addie. Congratulations on making it to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023). This is definitely my favorite MCU movie of the year. I enjoyed seeing it in IMAX 1.90:1 with my girlfriend and a friend of ours. The escape from the Orgocorp facility at the end where all of the guards were flying around was hilarious but Lylla's death at the hands of the High Evolutionary was so heartbreaking to cause Rocket to attack the HE in anger and leave his mark on him. The HE deserves a "How dare you!" comment for his mockery of Rocket mourning Lylla. BTW, I like you Cosmo The Space Dog shirt. I enjoyed seeing you wear it in your last Q&A.
