PULP FICTION - Full Length Reaction!

Here's the full length reaction to Pulp Fiction! I feel like I was in shock for 90% of the movie, so I felt mentally exhausted afterward haha. The performances in this movie are fantastic (what a cast!), and I enjoyed the timeline slowly coming together as the movie went on. Enjoy!

PULP FICTION - Full Length Reaction!

Comments

I would love to see Addie & Jeremy dress up as Mia & Vincent for Halloween.

One of my most favorite soundtracks. Great video! Also, I once saw a girl dressed up as Mia for Halloween; she had the syringe sticking out of her chest and everything.

"I want to be her for Halloween." I hope this comes true. "Now I want a freaking milkshake." I lean towards root beer floats myself. Whenever "You Never Can Tell" pops up on my playlist I think of the Twist contest. Adrenaline shot... "If you're alright, then say something." "Something." (not literally but that works) "I'm not laughing at that. I'm not laughing at that." I started laughing at you not laughing at that! (you keep someone in there?) ...... "YOU KEEP SOMEONE IN THERE?!" You may need a shower and some clean clothes. Probably some therapy. This reaction has some of my favorite comments/reactions from you! Take care of yourself, Addie!! Tell Ollie I said, Hi!!

I'm also still wondering how the hell Tarantino got his hands on a box of Frute Brute, given that General Mills discontinued it in '82. Was it some sort of limited edition or something?

I was in my first year at university when this came out. The soundtrack played everywhere, every girl got a Mia bob, and "bring out the gimp" was the meme of the day. It was remarkable to watch how influential the movie quickly became. For about ten years we had the age of the Tarantino knockoff, as people tried to recreate the bottled lightning of this movie. It revived Travolta's career - up till this point he was considered a real has-been, then suddenly he was foremost on the cultural radar again.

Since the drug scenes didn't seem to bother you too much, Addie, I'll recommend you add Danny Boyle's 1996 movie "Trainspotting" to your list for more 90s druggie fun. I'd recommend his zombie movies too, but they were probably too scary for you. He has some other films but they are just ok IMO. While I'm recommending drug-related movies, I'll add Guy Ritchie's "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" (1998) and Darren Aronofsky's "Requiem for a Dream" (2000).

This was during a time when we believed Johnny Law was listening in on cell phone calls, so discussing nefarious activities was a no-no. And during a time when $5 was an absurd amount to pay for a milkshake. This movie always puts me in the mood for a vanilla Coke. "I'm sorry, baby, I had to crash that Honda."

Luis Fernandez

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness..."

I just watched a full length reaction to this movie by Jen Murray last week but I’ll gladly spend another two hours watching it again with my favorite YouTuber with the crimson locks.

I watch this movie approx. 3-5 times a year and it still amazes me every time! Glad you've got to experience it, too!

It still slightly irritates me that a) Mia actually makes a *rectangle* when she says "Don't be a..."; b) Honeybunny says a slightly different line at the end of the movie from the beginning of the movie (i.e. "I'll execute every last motherfucking one of you!" vs. "I'll execute every last one of you motherfuckers!") -- I'm still not sure if Tarantino did this for a reason or if it was an oversight; and c) John Travolta just doesn't look dead to me after Butch kills Vincent -- he just sort of looks bummed out. Of course, these still don't get in the way of my enjoyment of this film. Incidentally, Tarantino announced his tenth and final film (called "The Movie Critic") earlier this year, and is set to begin shooting in the fall... though it's possible that the writers and actors strikes could throw a wrench into these plans...

Happy Monday, Addie. I'm so glad that you were able to make it through Pulp Fiction (1994), despite the shock you felt. IMO, I would DEFINITELY rewatch this movie. This is one of my favorite Tarantino movies because it was his first to be Filmed in Panavision (anamorphic) by Andrzej Sekula. I even enjoyed the second and third sequences of the movie because of Samuel L. Jackson's performance in the former, especially when he ate the Big Kahuna Burger & drank Sprite to go with it as well as when he recited Ezekiel 25:17, and the Jack Rabbit slims scene in the latter. I also have a t-shirt of the movie that I bought at a department store in South Korea, back in July 2016. BTW, I do hope that you also watch a light-hearted movie on your channel as a palette cleanse afterwards and hopefully it'll be on a poll soon.

Happy Monday, Addie! 😊 I agree, this movie has a great cast. And it's one of my favorite Tarantino directed films. Glad that you got the chance to watch it. Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Have a great day today! 😊
