WALL-E - Full Length Reaction!

Here's the full length reaction to WALL-E! Ohhhhh my heart! I just felt so warm and inspired by the end of the film! This is definitely now one of my favorite animated movies. I also LOVE the musical Hello, Dolly! and I had no idea that it was such a big part of this movie! Enjoy!

"What's Up, Doc?" is my favorite Barbra Streisand movie.

The Peter Gabriel song makes it even better.

With all of the brilliant moments in this movie, it's the little spork gag at the beginning that cracks me up every time. Sometimes simple jokes are the best :)

Ahhhh I missed that! I'll have to go back and watch it!

Addie, did you watch the "Let's rebuild the planet" montage while the first of the credits rolled?

Richard Ryan

I was only about 10 minutes in when I knew this was going to be my new favorite reaction of yours, Addie :) This is absolutely my all-time favorite animated movie, it's actually #4 on my all-time favorites list for movies in general. Anyone who watches this movie and doesn't get a little choked up at the end, I question if they even have a heart :)

Hello there, ADD-E!! I usually take notes through your reactions to mark my favorite scenes but today I just wanted to watch along with you. This movie had a lot of scenes without talking but it got the message across perfectly! We’ve had electronic items that needed resetting and there’s always something loud when that happens. When WALL-E got rebuilt it was the same. But there’s Always a hint of memory tucked away and when it is found everything comes back! I hope you have a wonderful weekend and lots of fun with OLL-E!! Take care!! Sincerely, BILL-E p.s. I’ve been waiting to do that since we’ve known you’ll be watching this 😂

Big Hero 6 is the best!

Speaking of Barbra Streisand, who was in Hello, Dolly! (1969), I also suggest Meet the Fockers (2004) & Little Fockers (2010), but watch Meet the Parents (2000) first, and speaking of Andrew Stanton, I also suggest John Carter (2012).

Oh shit, you right. My mistake lol.

Big Hero 6 (2014) is not Pixar, despite being animated 3-dimensionally. However, for a different kind of Disney movie, I also suggest Dinosaur (2000). Several scenes in that movie are very intense.

"Out there... There's a world outside of Yonkers,.." "Full of shine and full of sparkle..."

Em McG

Wait until you watch Big Hero 6. That film has even more heart and passion to it. Its also Disney Pixar Marvel film 😄

Fun fact: the visual style of this movie was influenced by sci-fi films from the ’60s and ’70s as well as '70s Panavision movie cameras.

You should also check out the short films Presto (2008), which preceded the film in theaters, & BURN-E (2008), which is a short film that is a spin-off to the movie.

Happy Friday, Addie. I'm so glad that you finally watched WALL-E (2008), since you did mention in your latest Q&A, during PS Weekly's What Should I Watch? quiz, that you haven't seen that movie, yet. I have seen this movie a few times in the past, including at some point in high school, but I remember it vaguely, so I'm definitely rewatching it now. BTW, I'm so glad that you enjoyed those references to Hello, Dolly! (1969), since you loved that musical and starred in a stage production of it. Because of this, I'm definitely gonna watch that movie later.
