While "Christmas Vacation" is one of those few sequels that can stand completely on its own, I do hope you'll eventually watch the original "Vacation".

I very highly recommend the whole "Vacation" series. The rest of the movies in order are: "National Lampoons Vacation", "National Lampoons European Vacation", and "Vegas Vacation". 2022-12-07 17:11:27 +0000 UTCHappy Wednesday, Addie. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989) really made you crack up, just as it did for me. It's really a must-watch for every holiday season. Definitely rewatch this with your partner, Jeremy, as yule both crack up as well. Fun fact: If you look closely at the start of the credits, Clark is seen petting the dog, Snots, whom everyone was afraid to pet, due to his sinuses. BTW, nice sweater and Santa hat. It really puts you into the festive mood. And I'm so glad that you feel in your element this month.
