THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS - Full Length Reaction!

Here's the full length reaction to The Silence of the Lambs! I am.... disturbed hahaha. But I made it through! I survived! My plan is to go ahead and watch The Shining as well since so many of you recommended that one in the comments of the poll! I feel like it's definitely a film I need to watch before spooky season is over. Enjoy!

"Such a great movie that I don't need to see again." LOL, good on you for sticking with it.

Manhunter was an awesome :)

I should probably also throw out that there's both a prequel (2002's "Red Dragon") and a sequel (2001's "Hannibal") to this film (it doesn't really matter which one you watch first, since you started with the one that takes place in between both of them 🙃). There's also another one that's a prequel to all 3 - "Hannibal Rising" - but it's pretty much universally despised, so I don't think you'll disappoint much of anyone if you never react to it. 🤫 There was also an earlier adaptation of "Red Dragon" titled "Manhunter" from 1986 with Brian Cox playing Lecter (albeit in a much smaller capacity), but I personally consider it a separate, standalone entity from the 3 'Hopkins-as-Lecter' outings.

This was so much fun to watch along with you, Addie! It's kinda funny hearing you talk about recognizing Anthony Hopkins as Odin, when for so many of us this is the role that we always think of when we think of him. If you get a chance, go onto YouTube and search for "Billy Crystal Hannibal Lecter", Billy was hosting the Oscars the year this movie won, and he started the show with a really fun homage to this movie.

Just heard Addie say she edits her own videos. I am extremely impressed considering the amount of quality content she provides. Most other providers don't do their own edits and put out less content. Addie can keep in all the swearing she slips out as far as we are concerned it only adds to the realness of her videos. Thanks Addie!

My sister had been an RN for about 15 years when this book came out, and she could not make it past the part where Miggs threw his semen on Clarice, so she gave it to me and I read it in no time, then I went to see the movie in theaters when I was in high school. Fun Fact #1-For Buffalo Bill, they took aspects of many real life serial killers, mainly Ed Gein, and Ted Bundy. Fun Fact #2-The leader of the SWAT team is a man named, Chris Isaak, and he had a big hit in 1989: Wicked Game.

Oh hey by the way, Anthony Hopkins is also playing as Odin in the MCU :) Did you find the resemblance?

i liked how you were hiding in the beginning and how you were wide eyed throughout the movie.

As Obi-Wan would say, you've taken your first step into a larger world. 😉 Good luck with "The Shining."

You made it all the way through in one piece, that's an accomplishment!👍

...oh, and speaking of feeling disturbed after a horror film, my girlfriend & I saw Smile (2022) in the theater and that was so well done, yet we were on edge. So, in some degree, I feel you, but with a different movie.

Let's give Addie a round of applause for surviving The Silence of the Lambs (1991).👏👏

As a long-time horror fan: I say kudos to you for this effort to entertain us. Especially since you're not used to watching horror movies~ Nice! 😁👌

Happy Wednesday, Addie! 😊 Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. This is one of my favorite Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins movie. Glad that you decided to go ahead, and watch "The Shining". Such a great movie. And I highly recommend reading the book as well. Have a great day today! 🙃

Happy Wednesday, Addie. I'm definitely watching this movie with my girlfriend later on this week, via a watch party on Amazon Prime, paired with your reaction to it, from my feed. I'll let you know what I thought of it afterwards. I bet that this was the most intense movie that you've reacted to, since The Dark Knight (2008). And I still would love to see you react to Scream (1996), and its four sequels as well, before the end of spooky season. Don't worry, they're not so scary.

Alex Tan

This is awesome. Can't wait to watch!
