This try at it kind of speedran through the datapoints I wanted. I started over and let things simmer across a few different strips instead.
Also, by letting Becky wander off halfway through, it let Dina stew in these thoughts a bit before we return to both of them later.

Between the breathing room and the additional context of more body language, yeah, Good Call here too. The bonus dissociated stares to emphasize Dina’s slowly dawning realization, in contrast with her directness, really make things pop. I’m absolutely not saying I dislike the first piece (same as the last one of these), but it does show where the second pass enhances the moment very, very well. Thank you for posting these!
