I really want your insight about something
So I'm now eligible to membership on YouTube
And I wanted to take your opinion about the following
I know for a fact that I can't do more than 1 reaction per week
because filming and editing takes A LOT of time for me
on the other hand, people want more reactions out
So I was thinking that through the YouTube membership for just $1/month
I could release 2 more reactions through livestreaming
that way I'll be able to release more content yet not take 6 extra hours of editing xD
of course you guys don't need to be YouTube members cuz OBVIOUSLY I'm gonna share the link of my livestreams over here
that way you'll have the perks of your tiers IN ADDITION to reaction livestreams rather than just hang out livestreams
ALSO, patrons will have the upper hand in choosing the songs that I'll react to
SO! what do you think? Would you be interested in that? and do you think people will be interested in that?
I'm still in the thinking process xD so if you have any ideas please do share them with me I really appreciate you input πβ€οΈ

Hey Rana, I think if I was going to do something like that, I would probably do one or two livestreams to see how well they go over, and if it looked like the interest was there, then I would move them to a membership channel and see what happened from there.

I have seen a lot of reactors on YouTube who offer channel memberships, and I think you could set the price even a little higher, maybe $2 or so... Or like Stefan said, you could also offer different levels. I would support that, even additional to Patreon, And to see you doing live reactions would be surely great fun, I agree with Ronny and Efren:-) Keep it up Rana, you are awesome and adorable, and youvdeserve every support:-) β€

You can advertise it in your video descriptions and over the first couple of weeks / months you will see the reactions and then you can decide if the revenue you get is worth the effort you put into. As Stefan has already said the copyright topic might get tricky! Can you find out prior to a live reaction if there are copyright restrictions on a original video that might get you in trouble? Another aspect to consider is: even live streams will demand a certain preparation from your side I would think, so you need to assess what amount of free time you can spend on top of what you are already doing. Maybe the following might be an idea to consider. When you post your next reaction video on youtube you can make a comment yourself and pin it so it always is the first comment and you can ask your youTube community (which are over 41,500 people) what they think. Maybe that feedback will also help you with your decision.
