January Overview

Honestly, January has been kind of a total blur - it's difficult to remember when exactly each part of each project began, but when I take a moment to tally everything that's been made since the December update, it looks like it's been one hell of a productive month!

Those of you following us on Twitter will be aware that we've started making mechs for  Lancer. Designing more mechanical/technological units has been a refreshing change of pace, but also a new series of challenges. All of the units we've created up until now have been static images, but the Lancer mechs are modular, featuring overlapping layers and dozens of variations on each, making a single mech much more challenging to design than, for example, 'Orc with Axe #3'. Still, we've never shied away from a challenge, and here's what we've added:

Units

General Massive Systems Standard Pattern 1 (GMS SP-1) Mech customizer - a modular engine to create unique mechs for players, NPCs, or enemies! 8 unique modular designs, as well as the full GMS weapon list to equip them with.

The full Interplanetary Shipping- Northstar (IPS-N) mech catalog. Each mech comes with a variety of weapon , gear, and system options based on the most common loadouts. The mechs are:

Site updates / Features

On the tech side of things, we also implemented a rudimentary color selection tool for the mechs, as well as an update notification on the site itself to let you when a newer version of the site is available.

Moving forward, we're going to continute our Lancer units - Work has already begun work on the Horus lineup.  Winter provides me with an abundance of free time, so I should be able to finish this relatively quickly!

I'd also like to give a big shout out to Rybonator for his awesome video- the units featured in the December update were designed based on his Crypt of Rova module, which you should check out if you want a fairly high-level undead-heavy dungeon!

Employee of the Month:

Finally, as always, we'd like to extend our sincere appreciation to this month's Employee of the month, General Massive Systems Standard Pattern 1: Factory Standard model! Uh, keep on keepin' on, my robotic son!
