December Overview

The new year is upon us! Here's what happened last month -

Units

-10 New Enemies! That's not quite as many as usually posted, but many of these were large monsters that took a little longer to make than usual, and most of them are exclusive to our legendary patrons! The new units are mostly powerful new undead monsters, as well as a smattering of other classic foes. In no particular order:

In other news, we've also completed organizing some of our units into Roll20 compatible packs! The holidays have thrown everything for a bit of a loop, but in the very near future you should be able to find our Goblin, Human, Orc and Undead units on the Roll20 store, in new square token formats. If you're a legendary supporter, we'd like to offer you a free pack of your choice! Just send us an e-mail from the same address as your patreon account or message us here, let us know which pack you'd like and we'll send it your way!

Going forward into 2020 we'll be expanding our roster into new genres. Those of you following us on Twitter are already aware that I've begun to design mechs compatible with Lancer, a mud-and-lasers style mech combat RPG.  (Seriously, check it out, it's awesome) This might take a little while to get fully functional, as we intend to offer a modular customizer to offer a truly diverse array of option when it comes to your fightbots. This is more complex than anything we've tried before, but to tide you over we'll put up a selection of pre-rendered mechs very soon.

In retrospect, I shouldn't promise as many units each month as I did last time - I didn't get around to  the air/earth elementals or the city guards - those remain firmly on the 'to-do' pile, for which I apologize profusely. All I can promise is that I'm always busting my butt makin' new stuff for the site!

Are those new units meant to be available already? I can't see them on the site

The site renders the units onto a .pdf file, but if you import it into GIMP you can select the units and export them as .pngs. It's a little arcane, but it works!

Hey there, this is really awesome. Love the art. I do have a question, is it possible to download the miniatures somehow as png files so we can use them in our Roll20 games? Thanks!

He's one of my favorites too! I think this month's figures are some of my best ones I've ever turned out.
