He’d never thought he’d be one of those guys who would find it necessary to drink heavily during the middle of the week. However, with how his work had been going he needed something to take the edge off. The company was forcing him to do all kinds of overtime while they had recently cut several jobs in order to save money.
The bartender put out a glass of Jack in front of him and Zack downed it faster than he should have. It only dulled the pain a little. The bartender’s eyebrow didn’t even raise as he poured another glass. “Thanks,” Zack gives a tired sigh and the bartender nods.
“Hey,” a guy comes and sits next to Zack at the bar. “Are you Zack Smith?” he asks.
“Yeah?” Zack looks him up and down for a little bit. He eyed the other man feeling like he should know him but at the same time didn’t know from where. The overly friendly smile just threw him off even more as he’d rarely ever done business who had one so genuine. “I’m sorry,” he apologized, “but I’m afraid I don’t know where we’ve met before.” It was an old trick he’d heard that made it sound like he still knew the person but without directly saying, ‘who are you?’
“Oh?” the guy laughed. “Guess that makes sense you don’t remember me. I doubt you remember all the friends of your previous exes. I’m Adam,” he held out his hand to shake.
“Right,” Zack shook the other man’s hand. “I’m Zack.” He paused realizing that had already been established. A hand shot behind the back of his neck.
“Don’t be too embarrassed,” Adam laughed. “I’m sure you’ve gone through a lot of girlfriends. No way you’d remember me. Handsome guy like you’s probably still fighting them off.”
A light blush filled his face. He hadn’t really felt attractive in years. Even when he’d started college he could feel the weight building around his frame. Sure, coach and the other guys would tell him that was muscle, but he could see the flab building around his midsection and the softness of his arms. “Thanks,” he took a sip of his drink.
“C’mon man. I’m sure you get complements all the time. Girls are probably still throwing themselves at you,” he continued.
“Eehh…” Zack snorted into his drink. That was far from the truth. He’d tried a few dating apps and found the market had pretty much dried up. It was hard for him to find one to go on a date and even harder to find one who wanted more than a free dinner. Even if he wasn’t 30 yet, he was almost ready to just say that he would rather say he was going to focus solely on his career and then see if he could find someone to settle down with when he was more established. If ever. “I guess,” he lied.
“Oh please,” Adam leaned his weight back holding onto the wooden bar. “Big handsome guy like you. There’s no guessing.”
“Hmph,” Zack snorted. “Sounds almost like you’re a little jealous.”
“What if I am?” Adam raised an eyebrow. Zack’s eyes went wide. He quickly finished off the second drink in front of him and the bartender was already ready to fill him for a third. “It’s just a joke,” he slapped the side of Zack’s arm and started laughing. “C’mon big guy lighten up. I know you’re not gay.”
“Right,” Zack smiled. It was friendly enough but also a bit uncomfortable. Was this guy really flirting with him? He was too tired to care. When he was still in college he would have threatened the guy for even looking at him too long. Now that would have been corporate suicide. Not to mention how he kind of did enjoy the complement. It’d been a long time since someone seemed genuinely interested in him. Adam didn’t seem to mind how his fatter frame pushed out at his button up shirt or how his belly was extending slightly over his belt. Ever since he’d graduated it’d just gotten bigger and bigger.
Zack had always sworn that he’d never get that way. That he’d always stay in shape. But the way the corporate world worked, he’d rarely have time to cook himself a proper meal. And if there was an hour to actually find a time to work out he’d rather just spend it sleeping. People would often call him burly, but he knew they just were looking for a nicer way to call him fat.
“What?” Adam asked. The sudden pause in conversation made it obvious that Zack had been thinking about something else.
“Nothing,” Zack lied. Adam didn’t say anything. His round eyes seemed to be asking for more information. Zack tried to fight it off but apparently the alcohol was really strong tonight. “I don’t know man. It’s just I hate my job, hate my body and hate my life. I never wanted to be this fat piece of shit running around a God damn office for some prick who barely even remembers my name. Like fuck. I used to be fit. I used to have girls begging to sit on this dick. Friday nights, were my nights.” He paused realizing just how much he shared.
However the smile on Adam’s face only seemed to broaden. Zack was about to apologize before he was interrupted by the other man. “What if it could be different?”
Zack waited a beat. He stared down the other guy waiting for more information just like Adam had done to him. But Adam wasn’t adding anything to the conversation. “What?” he finally asked.
“What if it could all be different? I run this gym—“
“I’m gonna stop you right there. I’m not going to some gym. I knew this was too good to be true. You’re just trying to get me to buy something,” Zack dismissed. He spun his barstool forward and wasn’t going to look at Adam anymore.
“It’s not a scheme. I swear. You come to my gym, and not like it; I’ll give you $500 for wasting your time. Big business man like yourself has to see how time is money.”
Only using the corner of his eye, Zack stared at him again. Maybe it was just the alcohol talking, but Adam seemed really genuine about it. There wasn’t a hint of a lie or anything about the way he was currently looking at him. The guy really just wanted Zack to see the inside of, at the very least, a gym. “Fine…” Zack agreed. “But you’re driving.”
“That’s fine,” Adam celebrated to himself as he hopped down from the stool and pulled at Zack’s hand towards the door.
“Wait! I need to pay,” Zack pulls back.
Without hesitation, “already did.” Adam continued pulling at his arm and then to his car. Zack wants to resist a little more but the excitement in Adam’s voice made him give in. It was a short drive over to the gym and Zack couldn’t help but stare up at the big neon sign. He stepped out of Adam’s car and looked around the giant empty nearly empty parking lot. There were only four other cars in what should have been able to hold close to 60.
“Busy place…” he said with a bit of snark.
“I know… I know…” Adam agreed. “But it will be. I just need to get the word out. Then it’ll be filled. I know it.”
“But you’re gonna risk $500 on a fatass you barely know?”
“If you knew the odds…” Adam said.
Zack couldn’t help but pick up on the ominous vibe Adam had put into that statement. He brushed it off and followed the smaller guy into the gym. It was the first time in a long time he’d actually been in one. The bright florescent lighting pretty much blinded him. However, at the same time Zack expected there to be more than one person inside the gym. Even if it was after 10 on a Tuesday, gyms were never this slow. Especially ones as decked out as this one.
There seemed to be machines all over the place, each one in immaculate condition. Almost like the plastic had just been peeled off their red paint. But still the emptiness of the gym was a bit haunting. Zack knew exactly why Adam would feel like he had to pay someone to be there. The first couple of customers were always the hardest.
“Evening Adam! See you got yourself a friend,” the guy working out in the back called across the gym. His baritone voice echoed off all the metal.
“Yeah…” Adam called back. “He’s here to work out.”
“Yeah?” the guy smiled. Even from the distance Zack could see it. But what caught his eye more was just how big of a man he was. Pure muscle was built on his frame. Even as he walked his 6’5” body over to them, he had to do a bit of a waddle as his thighs rubbed up against each other. It didn’t seem to bother him in the slightest. The pure power the muscles exuded was clearly worth what they hindered in mobility. “Got a new sucker?”
“I don’t know if I’d go that far…” Adam was busy looking for something behind the front desk.
“Sucker? He’s the one who offered me money to be here,” Zack gloated. He could still feel a bit of the alcohol running through his system but he knew the deal he’d made was worth it. Five hundred dollars just to test out a gym; who wouldn’t do that?
“Wait… Has he not told you? Have you not told him?” the guy shifted his weight over the counter and looked down at Adam.
“Told me what?”
“I was getting to it… I was getting to it…” Adam popped up from behind the desk holding a shaker bottle filled with a bright purple liquid. “Found it!”
The guy rolled his eyes. “And when were you going to tell him?”
“Tell me what?”
“Like I said, I was getting to it,” Adam rolled his eyes.
“Yeah… Yeah… That’s what you did to me too. You waited till the last minute and then just expected me to agree.”
“You did though! It doesn’t work if you don’t agree!”
“Tell me what!” Zack finally shouted. The two guys looked over at him realizing they were ignoring him.
“Tell you about his little product,” the guy started off. “I’m Frank by the way.” He held out his hand for Zack to shake. The thing was massive completely dwarfing Zack’s. If he wanted to, Frank could have easily crushed his hand. “Anyways, you wanna know how I got this big?” Zack nodded. His eyes couldn’t help but trace the strong defined muscles of the giant in front of him. They were as large as any bodybuilders and clearly stronger. “That shit. But the thing is, if you take it, you turn gay.”
Zack’s eyes went wide. They darted back and forth between the two men. Then he burst out laughing. “Holy shit. You had me going man… Jeezus Christ… You know what? Keep the money. It’s a funny joke and all but I think I’ll just head home. You drove so…”
He started back for the door but Frank stood in the way. One finger pressed against the metal and Zack couldn’t move it. “I’m not joking. That stuff is magic. If you drink it, you can be as big and strong as me. However, it’ll turn you gay.”
“Adam?” Zack looked over at the guy he barely knew.
“It’s true,” Adam said. “That’s why I asked you to join the gym. I need more personal trainers but this is the only way I really know how to get them. But you don’t have to drink it all. You can get some of the results as Frank but the more you drink the bigger you’ll get.”
“Ok..? This is still a bit crazy…”
“I know. I know what it sounds like but it’s all true. All you have to do is drink this and then go through a workout and well… You’ll start to grow. But you can stop at any time.” Adam still held onto the shaker bottle and looked at him clearly hoping he’d say yes.
Frank’s arm wrapped around his shoulders. “What do’ya say?”
“Fine… I still don’t believe you…”
“All you have to do is agree to the terms,” Adam said. “If it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work.”
“I guess that’s a way to look at it,” Zack rolled his eyes. He grabbed the bottle out of Adam’s hand and took a light swig. His face curled up but the fluid still went down his throat. So many tastes went through his mind as he forced the liquid into his stomach. But once it was down he almost felt like he liked it. That strange salty taste was almost satisfying. “Alright? Where do we start?”
“Dumbbells,” Adam said. He started walking across the gym and Zack followed. “I’m just going to run you through some simple exercises and then you can stop whenever you want.”
“You’ve already said that.”
“I know it’s just…”
“I’m not going to be gay,” there was a resolute sound in his voice. However Adam didn’t seem to believe him. “I’m not going to be gay.”
“Ok,” Adam turned back to the weights. “Do some bicep curls.”
Zack ignored the doubt in his voice and picked up two 30 pound dumbbells. It was one of his favorite exercises back in high school. He’d be able to show off his large arms and every time he’d pulled up the weights watch them bulge ever so slightly more. The feeling was always amazing he could feel the rush running back to him. Even if his arms were hidden behind his sleeves he couldn’t help love the feeling of them pushing harder against them.
“Proper form,” Adam scolded him.
“What?” Zack hadn’t even realized he’d just finished a set.
“I said you need to make sure you use proper form. Really work on getting to the top of the curl and twisting ever so slightly to engage the entire bicep.” Adam helped guide the 40 pound dumbbell all the way through the motion.
“Right…” Zack said as he was going to put the weights back. However he had to shimmy slightly to the right to get them into the right position. He took another drink of the protein drink. “So you’ve been a trainer?”
“A little. Not really successful. Most people don’t really want to train under… Under someone like me. They’d much prefer guys like Frank,” Adam pointed over to Frank at the squat station he’d. Put several 45 pound plates on both sides of the bar and was knocking out rep after rep. It was practically like there was nothing on it.
“Yeah…” he took another drink trying to dull the awkwardness between their silence. “Why don’t you try some of this stuff?”
Adam’s nose stiffened then he turned around. “Let’s move onto the next one.”
“Alright,” Zack followed him over to the pull up bar. On the way he couldn’t help but look over his body though. Already there was a slight difference in the way he was walking. He stood a little taller and his large round potbelly had pulled in slightly. It wasn’t much but he knew there was a difference. He’d ran his hands around that guy, feeling it grow every day. But now, now it was smaller.
“Zack!” Adam called for him.
“Right. Sorry,” Zack said. He jogged over to the rowing machine Adam was standing next to. He sat down on the seat. “Man… I don’t know the last time I touched one of these…”
“Yeah?” Adam asked. “Why don’t you do a quick set to get back into it.”
Before Zack knew it, he’d grabbed the handle of the rope and started running through the exercise. It wasn’t until Adam had told him to stop that he did. “Alright. That was descent. But you need to take it slower. Actually preform the exercise right.” His smaller hands ran up Zack’s arm and he slowly pushed Zack through the motion. “Like that.”
“Oh…” Zack’s mouth hung open a bit longer than usual as he felt the other man touching him. He hadn’t realized how much better it felt that way.
“Yeah… You can throw your back out if you’re not too careful,” Adam smiled.
“Right,” Zack blushed. Adam’s hands were still on his arms. He’d been rubbing them ever so slightly. Zack pulled away and then grabbed the shaker bottle and took a drink. He tried not to think about the current thoughts running through his head. Or how his dick wasn’t completely flaccid at the moment. ‘I’m not going to be gay.’ He took another drink for good measure.
“You feeling alright?” Adam asked.
“Yeah,” Zack lied. He wasn’t about to admit the new feelings he was feeling. There was no way in hell he was going to admit that. He stood up and tried flexing to move his blood away from his penis. However, upon doing so he couldn’t help but catch his reflection in the mirror. Already he could see the change. His bulkier body already looked like it was trimming up. The round belly was only slightly past his more muscular chest. Not to mention that his shirt was rising up as his traps had grown. “Woah…”
Zack flexed his arms and chest again feeling his shirt feel snug around his upper body instead of his lower. He hadn’t felt anything like that in a long time. A broad smile crossed his face as he thought about it more. ‘I could look like Frank… I could look better than Frank.’ The smile only broadened as the thought solidified.
“Ready for the next exercise?” Adam asked.
“Uhhh… Yeah,” Zack shook his head trying to think straight again. The sudden urge to grow had distracted him more than he thought it ever would. He brushed the thoughts off and followed Adam over to the pull up bar. He took another drink of the liquid and stared at it. A sudden fear washed over him. “I don’t know…”
“What?”
“I haven’t done these in years… And well… I…” Zack didn’t want to talk about his fat. The extra weight had made pull ups nearly impossible. His muscles had atrophied while his body had just grown.
“Just try it,” Adam smiled. “You’ll be surprised.
Zack took an even longer drink. He was past the halfway mark. “Ok…” he grabbed the bar. It didn’t feel as far away as he thought it’d be. The first one was the only one he remembered. He dropped down from the bar and took an even bigger drink of the liquid. “Phew!” he exclaimed. Sweat drenched his shirt and it looked plastered to his body. With a light flex he heard a rip. “Shit…” he groaned.
“Just take it off,” Adam said. His chipper voice made Zack feel a bit embarrassed.
“You sure?”
“Course I am. It’s just me you and Frank. And I don’t think either of us are going to say anything.”
Zack gave it another thought and caught his reflection in the mirror. “Shit…” he moaned. Seeing just how big he was made his dick throb. He was growing out of his shirt. The soft fabric couldn’t hold his body against the seams. Little by little his arms and chest were expanding. Muscle built upon muscle. His belly pulled in while his chest pushed out. Each breath he could feel another pound of muscle add on to his body. A deep primal growl escaped his mouth. “Fuck…”
“You’re getting really big,” Adam complemented.
“You think?” Zack felt really self-conscious about it all of a sudden. But the complement felt really good. ‘I’m not going to be gay.’ The thought ran through his mind again. He took another drink from the shaker bottle.
“Yeah! Just like Frank. Honestly you might even be bigger.”
“You think?” Zack’s mind was going fuzzy. It felt like all his blood was rushing to his dick. It throbbed again in his shorts. ‘I’m not… going to… be gay…’
“Of course I do! Just look at you!”
Zack caught his reflection in the mirror again. Even over those last few seconds he’d grown even more. His body just didn’t seem to stop. The shirt he was wearing had already torn asunder and only a few tatters remained on his shoulders. He pulled them off watching the thick muscles bulge and change shape as he did so. Every move he made was deliberate. Like he needed to show off.
Adam was right next to him. His small hands were running up over each one of Zack’s newly formed abs. “Don’t you love being so big?”
Zack’s body stiffened. He couldn’t believe all the thoughts running through his head. There were so many but he couldn’t focus on a single one. The only constant was his throbbing dick. Every fiber of his being was focusing on it. The constant thoughts bombarded him. ‘I’m not going to be gay.’ He tipped the drink back. And then it was gone…
“Oh no… You seem to be out,” Adam said. “But I know where you can get more.” The smaller guy dropped his shorts down around his ankles and his dick pointed directly at Zack. “Go on,” he goaded.
“But…” Zack fought off the thought with everything he had left. ‘I’m not gay…’ But the more he stared at that thick rod the more tantalizing it became. He couldn’t believe how much he wanted to get down on his knees. Somehow he just kept getting closer. His mouth, just a few inches away. Then he opened wide. ‘Just a taste… That’s all it is…’ His tongue licked the tip.
“That’s good,” Adam complemented. “Just a little more…”
‘Just a little more…’ Zack felt his body moving closer and closer to the thick rod. He couldn’t hold back anymore. His mouth engulfed the thing and he slowly pushed it deeper and deeper into him. Sucking it to his heart’s content. Each moan and groan Adam gave off only seemed to encourage him even more. He was doing something good. He was growing. Becoming stronger. Just like how he always wanted.
His own pleasure doubled as he felt Adam on the edge. The smaller man’s hands gripped his shoulders tighter. He couldn’t speak anymore. Only give of grunts. He dug his nails into Zack’s shoulders then hefted out one final loud grunt. Zack felt a series of blasts hit the back of his throat. It had the same taste as the protein drink did that he’d been enjoying all night. He couldn’t believe how good it tasted. Each new blast he greedily swallowed down.
“All done,” Adam said. He pulled his dick out of Zack’s mouth.
The glaze on Zack’s eyes was slowly starting to disappear. “What… What happened…?” he questioned as he tried to stand back up. But the newly distributed weight made it feel a bit awkward. Now instead of it being solely on his front it was positioned more in his shoulders. He caught a glimpse of his bare chest and smiled. “Damn I look good.” He shook his head realizing what he’d just done. “But…”
“It’s alright big guy,” Frank gave him a pat on the back. “I remember my first time. You’ll get used to it…”
“Yeah,” Adam added. “It’s not all bad. But I do only pay on commission so if you want to make some money you’ll have to find your own clients. Get them to join and then you can start making money.”
“But what about my old job..?”
“What about it?” Adam asked. “Do you really want to go back to that?” Zack gave it a thought and then caught a glimpse of his body again.
“Guess not…” he smiled.
