2024-05-29 07:18:41 +0000 UTCI was actually in Guilin for a week and took a river tour. It is beautiful and the shape of those mountains are so rare. An inconsequential side note: most of my group experienced food poisoning in Shanghai, so when we saw the boat staff to use river water to wash out the pans, we didn't eat or drink while on the tour. Everyone RAN to a booth selling bottled water once the boat docked. Twenty years ago, that still might be the most expensive bottle of water that I have ever bought.
