Synopsis
A Low-Stakes, Cozy, Slice-Of-Life Travelogue Adventure
John, a 37-year-old widower, discovers the extraordinary power to travel between worlds via dimensional Gates. Overwhelmed by the sorrow of losing his wife and the pain of his past, he wants to leave Earth behind. After some research and training, he embarks on a journey to explore different worlds.
Though John’s class could become incredibly OP, he doesn’t care about fighting or becoming a hero. His journey isn’t about conquering lands or gaining power, but about healing, rediscovering life’s simple joys, and exploring the magical wonders of the multiverse. John wants to travel, meet new people, and maybe help some of them as a healer or doctor if he feels like it. This is a tale of introspection and self-improvement, centered around exploring both the multiverse and Earth.
The story unfolds at a slow, steady pace, written in a diary-style narrative from John’s perspective. Some details are intentionally left out because, in John's view, they aren’t important to his journey.

Book 1: Shimoor
The first book follows John’s journey in Shimoor, a low-mana world with a medieval society where magic is barely noticeable. This “tutorial world” provides John with the calm, slow pace he needs to begin his journey, allowing him to adjust to the freedom of world-hopping without pressure or danger.

Book 2: Back on Earth
In the second book, John returns to Earth. With fresh eyes and a traveler’s mindset, he experiences Earth like a new world, focusing on friendship and personal growth. This time, he reconnects with the marvels of Earth—exploring familiar places as though they are foreign. A significant portion of the story focuses on John’s adventures in shopping, discovering new things to buy, and indulging in what Earth has to offer. Yes, John does a lot of shopping.

Book 3: Lumis
The third book takes John to Lumis, a medium-mana world with dungeons and captivating places. For the first time, he travels purely for the sake of exploration, eager to experience a new world and its mysteries, without any specific goal other than discovery and enjoyment.

Book 4: Zindor
Recently integrated, Zindor is a dangerous world where uncleared dungeons and unchecked monsters dominate the wilds. People live in fear, sheltered behind fortified walls, as a tense political landscape adds to the chaos. John and his friends must navigate not only the deadly wilderness but also the volatile politics of the cities, where every decision could mean the difference between survival and disaster in this unforgiving world.
≿━━━━༺❀༻━━━━≾
Through these relaxed adventures, John’s story gradually unfolds, showing how small, meaningful moments add joy and purpose to our lives. By exploring both the world and himself, John reveals that discovery doesn’t require epic battles or world-shaking events—it can be found in the extraordinary and the everyday.
Throughout the narrative, short side stories appear. Some shed light on the multiverse and other travelers, while others provide fresh perspectives on the main events. All of these side stories are eventually tied back into the main storyline, creating a cohesive narrative that deepens the overall journey.
This isn’t a story about epic conflicts, grand ambitions, or becoming a god, champion, or superhero. There are no major battles, no grimdark themes, no blood, and no gore. Instead, this is a tale of exploring the multiverse with friends, trying new foods, learning magic, and, of course, shopping—lots and lots of shopping.
So kick back, relax with a coffee or snack, and take a break from reality. Join John, the Gate Traveler, on a never-ending vacation.
Release Schedule: Five chapters a week, Sunday to Thursday, at 16:00 +3 GMT.
