"Emily" +references 2021 vs 2020+ wallpaper!<3
Added 2021-08-17 09:42:35 +0000 UTCThis started out as a completely different idea (more warm tones and red hair lol) but when playing around with the colors it felt like Emily so I decided to draw her!^^
I've been pinning and looking at illustrations with the character being backlit like this and wanted to give it a try, it adds so much contrast!
Pretty much exactly a year ago I drew Emily too and added the older version here to look back on and compare! The biggest difference between them is that I am now making value and color sketches beforehand and focus on composition more! I also feel like the new expression is stronger and more interesting, what do you think?
