Sneak peek at projects, Discord

Hello Cobra lords! I hope you're all doing well. I've been meaning to show you guys some pictures from Warlord fight pt. II for quite some time now, thanks for waiting patiently as always. 

Warlord fight pics

These ones are done in grayscale, then converted to color. The fight is really heating up, and is honestly the most ambitious animation I've ever tried to do. Lately I've been doing roughly 90% of the drawing before moving onto the next; I think this has been to keep up my sense of momentum. When the project is nearly done I'm sure I'll be kicking hard to finish the remaining bits. I recently bought some 3D poser software that is REALLY helping me with drawing bodies, something I've been weak at for a long time now. Art is really damn tough, every picture I do feels like a struggle.

"PilotRedSun project"

You'll see some pictures there that are purely in black and white. After I saw the Jord/Cooltaste/Warlord tweaking video I decided I wanted to make a PilotRedSun inspired recreation of the incident. If you are unfamiliar with PilotRedSun, check out his channel sometime, it will explain a lot.

It's been a good exercise in drawing whatever I feel like, and a reminder to just try and be expressive rather than agonize over making it look good. Unfortunately I'm having a hard time letting go and have wound up with some overly polished stuff, which makes me lose a lot of time. As I continue I'm sure I'll figure something out... 

New podcast episode

I'm currently in talks with a great guest regarding the next Snake Bones episode. Hopefully things will start to pick up, but in the meantime I'm enjoying this chance to work on the animations.

Discord

I have created a private Discord server for patrons! It is meant to be a place where we can chat, swap advice, and encourage each other. I'm expecting it to be pretty damn small, so hopefully you won't be discouraged if you only find a few people in there. If you would like to join, please message me your Discord ID and I'll send you an invite. 

If you haven't had a pledge amount clear yet, I may have to ask you to wait before receiving an invite. This is purely to counteract people who want to pledge, troll the discord, and then cancel their membership.
