Fernagling with old 3D software
Added 2021-09-22 03:01:58 +0000 UTCHeyo, hopefully you guys don't mind another post so soon. I wanted to share a couple of 4K 3D renders I made recently. The one with the checkerboard pattern is largely inspired by 90s math textbooks, and the other is more of a recreation of what was called 'memphis' symbols, also used heavily in the 80s and 90s. If I wind up creating more I figure I'll just add them to this post; feel free to use as a wallpaper if you like em!

If you REALLY want to have fun with Ray Tracing you should check out POV-Ray from the late 90s maybe early 2000s. Just kidding don't use it, it's terrible. But it was free back in the day.
