Quick digital painting for my friend + speed paint

The process that has been working for me is:
- rough sketch, then refining it and making it darker
-base colors underneath, then doing simple gradients and shadows
-making a new layer above everything and just painting and refining
Thats it haha, no idea why it took me so long to figure this out:DD

I'll put them all in my new class!^^ But it helps to do a more monochromatic color scheme and pick similar colors for a more calm drawing like this and keep the contrast minimal:)
