There's definitely a lot going on in the song including sampling Bach's "Air on the G String". 😆 They do have quite a few videos showing the recording process and how much they layer to create these really intricate soundscapes. I think you'll be really impressed with how much input (Wendy and Seulgi in particular) they put into the recordings. They have so many songs. Red Velvet is my favorite girl group because - exactly what you have said- they are very melodic. Each member is an amazing singer with unique tone and when they harmonize it is just heavenly! Watching Killing Voice is appreciation hour because the songs are even more detailed than I have thought, they are crazy on point. Glad that the girls get recognition as amazing vocalists they are! If you are interested, I would suggest checking out their song production/recoding video. They are so professional and they sing their own backing track sound. She is perfect Disney princess voice. - They mentioned that the airing one is their second attempt of recording. They choose this one because the vibe is better than the first one. So yes 30 min one take of live signing AFTER one session of another 30 min one take of live signing. They are just that good.

You can often see the two groups in the same episode of a music competition, or music variety show in Korea. I'm sure you've been recommend some Immortal Songs, probably the medley , but the actual full performances are where it's at. 14:05 Wendy is from South Korea, but she spent a few years in Canada as an exchange student. You Better Know wasn't a title track, isn't that crazy? That should have been an absolute radio hit! Red Flavor was a mega-hit, as was Bad Boy. 29:49 in the middle is Irene, eldest and leader of RV.
