Updates: Hey This "Project 99" Thing Has Sorta Mutated

Hi there, I need to peek out from behind the curtain, because I kinda got blitzed with inspiration for the RPG Doc, and it's just not quite there yet to show in deep.

I realized a while ago that I had an itch to take Section 99 back to its origin, to my original published work... which maybe sold like 9 copies, yet somehow made some people at a Microsoft campus enough that they reached out to my cowriter at the time to thank us. It was a little game called Terradrive that I had based on writings from my high school days, and well, over time? As I got more radicalized, angrier, wiser, sicker, happier, unhappier, more aware and more tired? It turned into Section 99.

So welcome back to the tabletop space. I've got some stuff to show you, very, very soon, and it's going to dovetail wonderfully with the Port of St. Joseph doc I've also been writing. For now, a preview of what I've had cooking this month:

The one dice roll that does basically everything:

The basic Attribute spread- hey look, I'm reusing the concepts from the RPGmaker doc!

Skills, in brief. Both Attributes and Skills are going to be elaborated upon as to more specific contexts where you'd use them, but the idea is mainly that in this system, if you can make an argument for the formula of your skill check that's logical? Yeah, go ahead, show your roll.

Vitality, and how it degrades tangibly as an operator takes damage and becomes wounded:

Conceptualizing the 'Soldier' Discipline tree, and some of the abilities that are learnable by investing into it:

I've got lots, lots more to show, but I just need a little bit more time to get it into a more coherent package for you folks- this month was a little rough for my mental health due to an issue with prescriptions, so I had to take a little more time for myself than I would have liked and sorta left you hanging for a while. Rest assured though: there's so much more here in terms of Project 99's evolution, and beyond that, I've also got the framework for a new episode of the Described Wrestling Project that'll be coming in May, so look forward to that as well! Just hold on a little longer, and I'll have some excitement for you in the next little while.
