Mon/Fri - And Now, Interlude

This week was slightly difficult, due to events that for once, weren't related to my own emotional turmoil. My cat Demeter is in need of chemo. She got her first treatment, and between that and her new meds, her strength and appetite is returning. So far, I'll take that.
I was hit by a wild hare this week. I wanted to go to space, so I spent a while working on Section 99, a new vision of what I'd worked on so long when I was a much younger man. This one isn't nearly as focused on the mil-spec (just a little) and is now a hell of a lot more interested in a thing that I wanted to do with it, which was space opera crime fiction. I'm pleased with how it's coming along, so this week, I share the first chapter of it with you. Enjoy!
