Gamewrecks 2 is going to be extremely good. I've come to this conclusion first after being satisfied with how the trailer turned out, and now, I'm coming to the same conclusion after having done the legwork on Tender Loving Care.
This game. This fucking game, is unbelievable.
- The same art director that worked on the Three Stooges game where Curly makes this horrible-devil sound is the designer and producer of Tender Loving Care.
- This individual, Rob Landeros, is the co-founder of Trilobyte, with Graeme Devine. Yes, one of the Quake III Devs, that guy.
- Tender Loving Care started life under the Trilobyte banner. Unfortunately, because Trilobyte was struck with a mortal but slow-bleeding wound with the flop that was The 11th Hour: The Sequel to The 7th Guest, it wouldn't be released initially as a Trilobyte game, since the company folded in 1998. It was continued under Landeros' own banner, Aftermath Entertainment, and released in 1999.
- Rob Landeros and Graeme Devine have apparently not spoken to each other since 1996. Trilobyte didn't fold until 1998. Consider this.
So I'm excited. This coming week, you'll see this in video.
