Release schedule update, March
Added 2020-03-17 08:14:43 +0000 UTCHi everyone! Here's what we're planning to cover up until middle of April.
Our next topic was born out of a Patreon poll winner. "When will aircraft carriers go obsolete?" And it ballooned into quite a big topic. So much so that we split it in two videos.
First one, dealing more with the threats influencing carriers today is coming out first, this Friday. Then the next Friday we'll do a video covering a longer term future for the carriers and address the question of obsolescence more head on.
In early April we'll be releasing a quite interesting scenario which asks: Could the modern day Polish military survive against the invasion of 1939? That scenario too is looking to be quite big so we may split it thematically in two parts, with the first part focusing solely on German invasion.
Why do we sometimes make two parters? Because we like to stick to a schedule. YouTube likes frequently released videos. Ideally a few a week. But we can't really do even one a week right now, because our videos are often so big and so complicated that it takes weeks for us to produce one. So sometimes we're faced with a choice: make one 30 minute video, and release only that over a course of 3 weeks or so. Or make two 15 minute videos and basically double our release rate. We do try to make the splits thematically sound.
