Hi, my dear Patron!

Binkov's Battlegrounds goes on! Even though the summer vacations and family obligations are doing their best to steer us off the course! (one of our members even got married. Woo hoo!)

Here's what we have in store for you in the very near future. This Friday we should be publishing the first of our two future cold war videos. This one will explore the geopolitics of the possible cold war between US and China. Rounding up their possible allies and making comparisons between the Cold war of the yesteryear, one with the Soviet Union.

The second part, dealing more in depth with the economics and the arms race should come by September.

But before that, in early August, we're on track to release our Patreon Poll winner, "Could US invade Venezuela?". It covers not only the fantasy-like premise of what if the US goes all in, but also the more realistic scope of a potential conflict between the two.

Sometime in mid August you will also get to see another video on Iran, this time dealing with its ability to hurt the US assets in the area, as well as its options when it comes to closing the Strait of Hormuz. A bit more realistic than the previous "Could US invade Iran video", and certainly more contemporary.

Oh, and Binkov's Battlegrounds is getting an office, of a sort. Up until now, all of our team members worked from home, each one on their own. But from August we're moving into a single working space, which should *in theory* increase our working effectiveness. Unless we *test* the realism levels of various strategy video games. And keep testing them. Because… it's not a leisure activity. It's… for work. Honestly.

For those of you who're wondering what's with the mentioned Binkov plushie doll - we're probably regretting we started it all. There's just so many unforeseen issues and steps to be taken into putting a new, previously inexistent product on the marketplace that we'll definitely have to make a video about it some day. But we're too far away now, with all the plushies made and waiting for a fulfillment center. So it's coming, rest assured.
