Summary of 2020

Well, what a shitty year this was. I will be short and straightforward cos 2020 was a terrible year for all of us. I just want to share how it was for me. And what are the plans for 2021.

You probably all noticed the decline in content, maybe even in quality of my art. Well, I’m suffering from a burnout. It probably started with the general depression looming over the entire world. It kills my creative drive. Life feels heavy and I was coping wrong.

On top of that, we had multiple family issues I don't wanna get into in detail, but it made my family’s life miserable in the second half of the year. And this November, 2020 really wanted to push us further into darkness. My family catched covid through my uncle, who works in the healthcare system. By the time we found out, the entire family was sick. He was pretty bad, I was fine, my mother was bedriden for 3 weeks, barely eating. She is still suffering from after effects. But the final push was losing my dearest grandmother to the virus a week before Christmas. She was 79.

It was devastating. The year just escalated in shittiness with each passing month. So I decided to take a break for the sake of my mental health. My productivity clearly is terrible. I'm not enjoying art anymore. I’m sorry for failing you guys this year! I will try to do my best in 2021!

I’m going to go on a break after I deliver the December patreon rewards. I will be on a break for probably a month. Just as much as I need to get myself together. In the meantime, I will be releasing the unreleased patreon comics on Deviantart, and Eka’s. So surprisingly there will be more content during my break, then before it. At least on the public platforms.

But hey! It's over. Its finally fucking over! 2020 is behind us. And I have plans for 2021. I want to be better than ever. I want this year to be great. And I hope this year will be great for all of us! Vaccines are out. We are entering the finale of this fight. It will only get better from now on.

To my patrons! I thank you very much for supporting me through these hard times, even though my productivity was down. Even though you yourself were struggling financially and mentally with this global situation. You guys are amazing! I appreciate you a lot, and I will try my best to be better than ever when I return from my break.
