Added 2020-06-21 20:04:44 +0000 UTCHello all! Just checking in to see how you’re doing. I feel like a simple and genuine “how have you been?” often gets left out of conversations these days, and I know it means a lot to me when I hear it. So, how are you? How have you been?
Today is Father’s Day in the UK (and I think the US too, but I’m not too sure) and I wanted to send my love to those of you who either cannot be with their families today, such as myself (trying to keep me/dad safe from COVID-19) and also to those who have either lost their father or never had a relationship to begin with. I know today can be hard for some, so I wanted to say I am thinking of you. Tough days don’t last forever.
Next week I have a doctor’s appointment (check up, nothing serious!) a house inspection (the joys of renting...) and then recording a new song! If you couldn’t tell, I’m writing a lot more for the next release... more news on that in time, I’m sure, but it’s looking like something I said wouldn’t happen for a long time might be coming together...
I’ve also been working with Davey on a cover of How Soon Is Now? by The Smiths - it might end up being my first ever official release of a cover! Still tons of work to go on it, but really exciting times. I’ve still not uploaded onto YouTube since my last lyric video - quite frankly it just doesn’t feel right to do it currently, I don’t know exactly what I want to make for such a wide audience and my creativity is very skewed this year in terms of video content. I’m planning on making a start on the Feel Good 101 video series next week as well as a couple of your video requests!
I’ve also finally got Davey to watch The Disaster Artist on Netflix - I’ve tried to slyly convince him that The Room is the greatest film ever, but it’s a tough one to explain. I’m hoping this is the gateway I need in order to have him fully ready to experience everything that is Tommy Wiseau’s genius.

He was never in my life when I was young but when my lease agreement and potential living arrangements seemed to be going south I called him up and he helped. Things took a bad turn but I'm hopeful that things will and striving towards things getting better.

2020-06-21 21:29:09 +0000 UTCI am getting better, I kicked anxiety's butt and came off my anti anxiety meds and have managed to stay off them. I feel a lot clearer on what I want to achieve and how i'm going to achieve it thanks to you and a few others as well as sitting down with myself and thinking a lot. I am staying positive and I have a temporary job interview in a few days so i'm hoping I can get that to bring more money in so I can get stuff I need to achieve my goals with etc. etc.

That's not a put-down, he was a real trailblazer even if I didn't recognize it at the time.
