How I currently feel
Added 2020-05-29 15:53:38 +0000 UTCThis photo of Leia sums it all up. Today I’ve had the harshest bout of fatigue I’ve felt in quite some time! A couple of late nights after working on a new track plus being woken up by SOMEBODY(!) meeping all around the house and my neighbour watering his garden at 8am led me to feeling super groggy all day. It’s almost 5pm and I’m just starting to come out of the fog - I’ve been asked to make a video regarding my current battle with chronic fatigue (I’ve had it for over ten years now!) so if you’d also like to see that video please do let me know. There is still so much stigma concerning ME/CFS and other ‘invisible’ illnesses and I think any conversation about it can help to lessen that.
This is my way of checking in, hoping you’re all well, and hope this picture of Leia brightens your day. Her is doing a comf.

I know another creator who has it and who's done a few educational instastories about it and it's opened my eyes so much. There is so much stigma about CFS, I think making a video about it can spark conversations about it and educate some people.

2020-05-29 21:00:09 +0000 UTCHaving the full diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is somewhat rare, so I think it would be interesting if you spoke about it more. I also suffer from something similar, where the fatigue is caused by other ailments.

I also have CF and really like when others share about their experience, one because it can feel validating to know others have similar experiences and it can raise awareness but also because not everyone's experience is the same and it is interesting to see how other people's experiences differ from my own. But I also don't like it when people feel pressured into sharing what can be quite a personal, private experience so please don't feel you have to share anything you don't feel comfortable with sharing.
