Well, sort of. Tonight at 7pm I'm premiering the official lyric video for History of Touches, the third track from my latest EP! Here's a really short clip I filmed by the canalside after we finished the last take.
Whilst I'm here, I'll give a little more detail about the lyric video! It was actually Davey who came up with the idea - I was really stuck for what to do for a video that would really encapsulate what the song means. I was trying to think of a way to do another static lyric video, á la Plot Holes, when Davey said he'd been thinking about the concept of walking under streetlights. We filmed the entire project in less than an hour in and around Bourneville, which is a beautiful village in Birmingham. It was lovely walking around in the twilight under stunning trees and old-fashioned streetlamps and we think it really suits the vibe of the music.
I have five takes in total, and so for you guys, I'm thinking of how I can make the most of the footage - would you guys be interested in an alternative 'director's cut' (lol @ the thought of me being a director) with different footage, or perhaps the original video without the lyrics? Let me know!
