Making edible fake blood!
Added 2020-11-14 08:14:01 +0000 UTCI had to make a big batch of fake blood for my sisters Carrie White cosplay last month. I looked up and experimented a way to make real looking blood that is okay to ingest!

What we got was corn syrup, water, and food coloring. I was hoping this was all I needed but just wait 😂
Adding just red wasn't the right look for blood, which is why you need blue to deepen it. But I ended up putting too much blue in and it turned purple... 
After looking for anything red in the kitchen to fix it, I got red icing and added it! 😂 Still looked iffy though... 
But hey. It looked fine on skin so I said fuck it.
The icing actually made the whole thing taste really good apparently! So I didn't feel as bad when I dumped it all over my sister 😂😂
So overall. Would recommend making it this way 😂
