Here's my question: Is time on the side of the US or the CCP? Is China getting stronger or weaker? Is the US getting stronger or weaker? If the US is getting stronger and China getting weaker, time is on our side, so delay is to our advantage. Did we weaken our positions re the CCP? No. Do we want to precipitate a crisis? No. The China spybase is not good, but we have bases in Taiwan, so there is that. We didn't win the Cold War by jumping but by waiting and growing stronger. Relax. We are winning.
