STRONGLY SUGGEST MASKING UP HUGE death rate in China is biggest non news in decades. 7-10 million excess deaths a year since 2019. Projections of MORE from current outbreak. This is hardly "news" Australian news reported citing suppliers orders to crematoria and picks of tractor trailer loads of packed urns being shipped out that Covid death toll in Wunan? City where this started, all those years ago. It got NO traction in international news. Nor is the current Covid variant sweeping across China killing what will be millions. US waited until Dec 28 to even require clear covid test for those flying in from China. BUT the order states this will only SLOW THE SPREAD of CHINESE VARIANT (you can get infected after you give a sample for testing). US is not requiring 2 wks isolation once they infected hit US. Airlines not requiring face masks. So if you can't trust authorities or biz, suggest you mask up in crowded areas and maintain distance. Wash those hands. Just Until Easter at worst when it's clear the Chinese variant is or isn't a problem to vaccinated in US (yeah I don't care about unvaccinated)
2023-01-21 23:13:47 +0000 UTCIn February of last year, just before Russia invaded Ukraine, the oil-drilling companies Total and Shell discovered a massive oilfield just off the shore of Namibia that could make that country one of the largest oil-producing nations in Africa, if not the world, in the next few decades. The CCP is already a major customer of Namibian uranium, and with their hunger for oil I can see the CCP being very interested in (supposedly) getting even further on Namibia's good side. Do you have any thoughts on the matter?
