Hey Chris, who in China decides what exactly triggers the lock down of a city? Xi alone? The central committee (how many people is that)? Local CCP officials? And why is China having such extreme lockdowns even though it seems to be seriously damaging the economy? Is Xi a hypochondriac? Is the CCP prepping its population for extreme defensive measures against genetically engineered germ warfare? Are the lockdowns due to traditional Chinese hyper filial piety (gotta protect the oldsters, no matter what)? Are the lockdowns due to the fact that CCP vaccines are not effective? Are the lockdowns primarily just an excuse to tighten the CCPs totalitarian control of the population? Are the lockdowns due to sheer incompetence, irrationality, and poor judgement within the CCP?

The CCP is running out of demons to blame and or options, short-term or otherwise.
