Greetings to the China Uncensored 50 Cent Army!

We have a lot of new patrons here after the recent episode about Google and Microsoft placing Chinese state-run media at the top of searches, including on YouTube. To all who are new here, let’s give them a big welcome!

Again, most of our budget to operate, pay our staff, and continue the show comes from you—the China Uncensored 50 Cent Army. YouTube ad revenue is only a trickle of what it should be compared to channels of similar sizes. It’s not an exaggeration to say that we could not continue China Uncensored without your support. So on that note, I have an important question for you!!

Making the shows does keep me pretty busy, so I don’t always have the time to brainstorm new ways to improve the experience on Patreon. So I’d love to hear your thoughts on how to improve your experience on the platform. I really want this to be an amazing experience for you, because, after all, you’re doing something incredible to help us in our mission to expose the CCP. You can leave your thoughts in the comments to this post, or you can send me a direct message anytime on Patreon. (If I’m slow to respond, it’s because there’s only one of me, please be patient!)

I do have a bit of bad news, I’m sorry to say. I’ve talked before about our plans to launch three new channels this year—a gaming channel, a history channel, and a channel devoted to helping you buy things that are NOT made in China. Unfortunately some things have come up in Matt, Shelley, and my personal lives that are taking up quite a bit of our time and energy, so realistically, launching those new channels will have to be delayed till later this year, or possibly next year. I’m sorry to say that, but our priority is to ensure that the quality of our current content doesn’t suffer (which it won’t, that’s my promise) so new shows will have to wait.

We do have some very interesting episodes coming up, which I think you’ll enjoy, including one tomorrow on the rise in antisemitism in China, as well as a new propaganda push by the CCP to redefine human rights globally by pushing Chinese style “Marixst human rights.” It’s kind of mind blowing.
