Phys Ed: Seth Rosenthal was a different person at summer camp

Hello, it's Seth! For the last episode of the first season of Phys Ed, the guest is: Me! I did my own intake form, I answered my own questions with Ryan's help, and I did my best to explain my own athletic upbringing. Somewhere in there we talked about why we wanted to do this podcast at all and revisited some of our favorite guests and themes from this first season.

Here, as promised, is a glimpse at the intake form we used for Season 1.

Every single guest filled this out before coming on the show, and I thank them for taking them to do that. We might tweak this intake form if and when we get to do another season, but I definitely like having some version of this form as a prerequisite for any guest.

On that note: If you've enjoyed this podcast, or otherwise have any thoughts to share, please let us know! We've enjoyed making it and feel like we've got a lot more to offer -- many more guests to book, many more themes to explore -- but since the first run of this first season was behind a paywall, it's tough to tell how much traction we've got here.

Also, shoutout to Mike Smeltz, who put the School vs. Sleepaway Camp corollary in my head when we talked about this podcast a long time ago. <3

Summoning Salt (known Jon Bois enjoyer) is also a big sports guy. I bet he'd have some interesting stuff to say about similarities between competitive sports and competitive gaming

I like this podcast a lot. Sports and physical activity has always been really important to me and hearing honest retellings of what it meant/means to other folks has been so interesting and enjoyable for me. Their is so much diversity of experience yet all these different throughlines. Goofing around is one of the best parts of life, thanks for making a thing that let's me hear more about it

This was a dope show! So much fun to listen to and brought up so many memories from a youth well spent playing sports and on the playground
