We know that dictatorships under pressure to fall do crazy things. Militarily China can't win a war against the USA, let alone USA + Japan + UK + Australia. Demographics and the economy also play against China. So time is not a CCP/Xi ally. But timing can be. 2022 and 2024 are election years in America. The country will be looking inwards in convulsion. This is the perfect moment for a Chinese invasion of Taiwan. Most of all because XI doesn't know who will be the next USA President. Do you think a mix of being under pressure internally and paralyzing USA elections could lead Xi to invade in 2022 ?
