Hi, it's Alios ~
I used to do song drafts mostly in my notebooks: I liked the messy look of my handwriting and the ability to doodle while thinking and to cross everything out with big fat strokes. But I find myself writing lyrics in my notes app on an iPad much more frequently now, so those handwritten drafts, which I loved so much to come back to years after the song is released, are starting to fade away.
Still, I mostly use a notebook to start working on a new song: for some reason, a blank piece of paper boosts creativity better than the opened notes app. After I have some rough lines and a structure of a song, I switch to the digital notes.
